USWNT midfielder Sam Mewis joins Kelley to discuss how she went from kicking a ball around her backyard to becoming the Tower of Power.
Sam discusses her early obsession with soccer and the competitive relationship with her sister, Kristie Mewis, that drove her to get better. She talks to Kelley about the decision to carve out her own path by attending UCLA, where she led the Bruins to their first NCAA Championship in 2013 and was named the Honda Sports Award winner in 2015.

JWS Podcasts with Kelley O’Hara are so unique. She’s so prepared, articulate, and has that crafty sense of humor. She relaxes all athletes that she “chats” with. It makes for a great 👍🏻 interview. Really enjoyed Sammy!

I heard that Sam Mewis got traded to KC for KIKI PICKETT now NC Courage is gonna suck as a team not that I am being harsh but that would be a bad ingredient for the Courage they are gonna fall fast next season they are no longer contenders for NWSL title it is Portland/Washington or ??? I think the Mewis trade was a bad one.

STRINGIMO.... STA SCURANNO * O'HARA is the tipical kinda girl that lives with hate to get results So she suffer of jelousy becouse she is in a position in wich she is not appreciated "The curse of the defenders" So the consequence is that the defence moments are caracterized by a lack of balance Even if in the last 2 years there were 70 goals made and 2 taken * The other one Mewis is always focus on the game and prepared, but she is so young... a potential talent/superstar, but she's too much nervous and pissed off at the same time So this can make her be a pokerface IN THE END, SEND THEM A COUPLE OF TOYBOYS, 300 BOX MAXIMUM
