I played all 3 of the 3d games and I really miss them... We had enough 2D Worms games, bring back 3d worms :D EDIT: Technically they are 4, but Ultimate Mayhem just feels like a remaster tbh

Worms Reloaded is actually a very underrated game. Relaxing music, strategic thinking is required, the story is not so easy to finish, beautiful animations, I think this game had the best interface among worms games. Personally, it's a special game in my eyes, I used to play it on my uncle's old Windows 7 laptop. Now I saw this video and I'm going to download the game. Thanks for reminding me of this game again :D

@@pastghoster I presume you mean Worms 2: Armageddon, which- Yeah, of course. I consider it to be a PC re-release. Out of the Worms games I've played, I think it's my second favourite, though I'd say the main reason it edges out 3rd place (WMD) in my eyes is probably nostalgia. It will always have a place in my heart though. Also it was fun to spring my friend with a 5 second turn timer lol

First time I played worms was on the Sega channel. Most of the time it was in my room on a black and white tv. What a great childhood. Glad the games are still going strong.

I still love the original most. You could really build a fortress with those pixel beams, since Worms 2 it's way more easily destroyed. This makes the maps feel smaller.

Woah, the series has got some interesting development in the last 10 years. Worms Rumble, in particular, looks very peculiar. Worms Armageddon and Worms World Party are surely forever in my heart. Top tier games. If I think about this franchise, I mainly think of those two.

Love Worms! It began when I rented the first one on PlayStation. Just some of the great aspects of this series is knowing that the battlefield will be littered with craters and trenches, and you never know how the battle will end up. Worms forever!!

Its crazy to see how underrated worms forts under siege really is, as it is not hard to understand this by judging from how I could find only 2-3 comments that mentions this game throughout lots of scrolling... that game was one of the biggest parts of my childhood in pc gaming. I still enjoy it when I launch and play this game.

When I was a kid, I played an unlicensed Czech freeware game called Worms Realtime. It was exactly that - turning the premise of Worms fighting and turning into a real time platformer shooter rather than turn-based combat. It came out in 2003 and it was a blast.

I've been around for them all but I loved the special addition worms the directors cut for the amiga. It was a step up from the original and way better graphics. You could make your own maps in a paint program and import to the game.

Forgets Worms United/Reinforcements and The Director's Cut but counts Battlegrounds as a separate game from Clan Wars :/ Not mentioning the mobile games is also a little disappointing. The footage from Worms 4 Mayhem is also actually Worms Ultimate Mayhem.

Another one he missed was that Worms reloaded was first released on PS3 in 2008, but it was just called Worms.

@@frjoethesecond That's not Worms Reloaded, that's just Worms which is correct. The version on PS3 is entirely different with different physics, only six environments, no options and no landscape editor, and only about 15 weapons. That game on PS3 called "Worms" also released on iOS and Xbox 360, it was originally an Xbox Live Arcade conversion of Worms: Open Warfare. Technically, those are slightly remastered versions of Worms: Open Warfare which originally released on PSP and NDS. The game that is on PS3 (and Xbox 360, Android, and iOS) and which is much more similar to Worms Reloaded is called "Worms 2: Armageddon".

Man this bringing back memory trip. Wonder if someone from 2000s secondary school like me can chim in there was online free website based worm like game that was like this. I think it was zoomblo or something with Z or V can't rip image out of my head. I have vivid memories of those days. Chars looked white/grey ish with round heads.

Worms Reloaded was released in the golden age of online PC gaming. Built-in voice chat, Steam invites, customizable voice banks and landscapes, even a special set of TF2-themed cosmetics! I highly recommend this and Armageddon for anyone interested in the series.

Worms 3D was incredible. I personally like Revolution and Clan Wars way more than WMD, the artstyle, the water mechanics etc. Kind of sad to think they might continue in that direction. Would love another 3D Worms or one with water physics.

I remember a cousin playing worms 2, and it had this editor when you can change every aspect of every weapon, like, make the magnum shoot instead of 6 bullets, shoot 50 as if it was a minigun, make the ratio of the impact as big as a banana bomb blast or higher, make each bullet deal damage to 1 up to 99, make a banana bomb drop 20 bananas, let health pack heal up to 200 and many many more, sadly I can't find a copy of the game, even pirated ones :(

Worms 4 Mayhem was the best 3D one. Ultimate Mayhem just has way too many bugs, was slapped together very poorly and has some problem with Jittery Camera and softlock on some missions. Only the PS3 Version is worth it for me. Edit: At 5:25 you can see the Bazooka forcing it's way down. And that's the least of the concerns, imagine getting your aim perfectly only for it to start roating 360° horizontally non stop 💀
