I'm hoping to be able to upload more regularly than I normally have by working on these shorter documentary type videos in between the longer ones. I'm going to focus on lesser-known fighters whose stories aren't celebrated as much as they should be. Starting off with the hard-hitting Ron Lyle!

The closest we have ever come to a real-life Incredible Hulk versus Unstoppable Juggernaut fight. These men were forces of nature.

Ron Lyle was a warrior! His fight with Foreman is my favorite heavyweight fight of all time.

ron lyle was a savage!!! he would go toe to toe with anyone no matter how hard they hit, dude slugged it out with earnie shavers and george foreman, two of the hardest punchers in boxing history, ron feared no man!😤

I like how he backed into the center of the ring and pointed down to make Ali come out and fight.

Seemed like a good guy. Learned from his mistakes and went back to give those guys in prison hope and a sense of purpose

One of the legends that helped build the greatest era of boxing. The guy almost died in jail and came out of it to fight against Foreman, Shavers and Ali, that's the definition of talent.

I've said this before, I'm not a massive fan or follower of boxing. But there is something so fascinating about these stories. They tell the story of who these individuals were outside the ring, what forged them into the men they were and it follows them on that path. Although I've heard many of the names of the people you cover, i knew little about them from pop culture. This is a name I haven't heard. A short piece but so well but together with a classic style that suits the material. Fantastic.

My Dad and I watched the George Foreman vs. Ron Lyle match live and boy it was exciting! Also watched him vs. Ali. Mr. Lyle was an excellent boxer and athlete. He turned his life around and ended on a high note.

Boxing isn't a bodybuilding contest but man the back and trapezius muscles on Ronnie Lyle were amazing.

Lyle is one of my most favourite boxers. His story is tremendous giving anyone motivation to become better in life. Great video as always. Rest in peace Ron.

One of my favorites. Articulate, intelligent, wise, and tough as boot leather. I was shocked when he died. I thought he'd live into his 90s. I recently read his biography "Off The Ropes", which was excellent. Strongly recommended.

As a kid in the 70’s I loved watching this guy fight. A warrior that never backed down from anyone.

A real tough guy, the match against Foreman remains unforgettable, today he could easily beat all the current champions! It's just a shame about the match against Ali perhaps being interrupted too soon

The thing to remember about Ron Lyle is that he started boxing in prison at 24 years of age. He didn't turn pro till he was 30. If this man would have had the years of professional training and started at a much earlier age, I have zero doubt he would have been a heavy weight champion, he almost got there even starting late. The fight with him a Earnie Shavers two of the hardest punchers out there was legendary.
