@@wildwine6400 WWE Smackdown and Raw are TV shows, but wrestling isn’t, hence why they put so much emphasis on live show reactions on the road and use those shows as basically a trial run. Get good reactions on the live shows, sell out arenas and you’ll get pushed on TV, unless a senile old man decides he doesn’t like you for whatever reason.

@@ijustyap so the rock and stone cold attitude era promo skills were top notch he has that kind of energy to cut attitude era promos but for me personally he would’ve made a great superstar during the attitude era

NWA Power: Eli Drake was why I watched that show. He would've been the top guy in any studio wrestling show back in the day.

Most heels have built themselves like that which takes months and years of work to be able to do that. But this guy *LA Knight* just generates extra terrestrial energy whenever he comes out and the crowd is forced to do nothing but cheer him. I personally had dibs on this guy since the day he joined NXT and have been a fan since his "Eli Drake" gimmick at TNA (impact). He is getting cheered every week and this is evident enough for WWE to push him to main event level and exploit his charisma.

And I’ll never understand the “he’s 40 argument”40’s the new 30’s in todays wrestling, Auska just won the championship and she’s 41, Nakamura is 43 Sheamus is 45 and there’s talks of giving him the grand slam! Brock and AJ Styles both 45, Lashley 46, Seth Rollins is almost 40 Romain is a year younger than LA Knight, Damien Priest is 40, fin Balor 41 and Edge is 50. Besides Seth and Roman LA is younger than all of them so what’s the difference between them and LA Knight? If they wanted to push LA Knight I’m sure he could do a lot in “let’s just say” 5 years! And I’m sure he could print WWE a lot of money in those years as well!
