The Messenger of Allaah (salla'Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: "Beware of the newly-invented matters, for every newly-invented matter is an innovation and EVERY innovation is misguidance and every misguidance is in the Hellfire."
Narrated by 'Aaishah (raadia'Allaahu 'anha), the Messenger of Allaah (salla'Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: "If somebody innovates something which is not in harmony with the principles of our religion, that thing is rejected." Hadith - Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 49, Number 861
Imaam Maalik Ibn Anas, may Allaah have mercy on him, that he said: "Whosoever introduces into Islaam an innovation, which he deems is good, then he has claimed that Muhammad (salla'Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) has betrayed (the trust of conveying) the Message. Read the saying of Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic: 'This day I have completed your Religion for you, and I have perfected My favor upon you, and I am pleased with Islaam as a Religion for you.' [Surat-ul-Maa'idah:3] So whatever was not (part of) the Religion on that day, is not (part of) the Religion on this day. And the last part of this ummah (nation) will not be rectified, except by that which rectified its first part."

Allah says > Whatever the Messenger gives you, take it, and whatever he forbids you, stay away from it ( Quran 59:7 ) All four imams said > if you find a saying of the Prophet P.B.U.H which contradicts what we have taught you then REJECT what we taught you Why do people follow the teachings of the four imams which are contradicting the Quran & Hadith 🤔❓ The BE$T Way to unite the ummah is by following the Quran & Hadith, but this can 0NLY be achieved if we $TOP following the teachings of those preachers & sects which are contradicting the Quran & Hadith

Alhamdulillah this is the kind of guidance that is needed. May Allah keep you steadfast and preserve you akhi (Ameen). Bid'ah is very serious and is poisonous like poisoning the well where people are drinking from.

Assalaamualaikum brother. Indeed, your explanations are very clear, precise and right on the spot. One request however. It will be of great use if possible to add reference of the hadith you mentioned on screen. Its just much easier to pass the message to other people who are committing bidah by giving them hadith reference to verify by themselves. May Allah reward you for all your hard work. Stamping out so-called "innovation" is almost certainly impossible. The variety of religious beliefs and practices one sees in Islam is mirrored by similarly varied beliefs and practices in every other religion. Over time, every human community evolves different ways thinking about and expressing religious ideas. There is no stopping this. You're free to criticize, of course. But trying to enforce uniform religious beliefs and practices on a worldwide scale is almost certainly doomed to fail.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته أستاذ أبو مصعب أود منك أن تجيب\تبحث عن حكم معين لو تكرمت، بارك الله فيك ما حكم كتابة سورة الفاتحة بحروف غير عربية لغرض تسهيل تعلم قراءة القرآن للصلاة ونحوه؟ وهل هناك تخصيص أو تفصيل؟ حيث أنني وجدت أنه لا يجوز ذلك على الإطلاق ووجدت بعض الفتاوى لشيوخ لا دراية لي عنهم يجوزون ذلك. جزاك الله خير الجزاء وتقبل منك صالح أعمالك

A Salamualaikum, I am a little confused. You said something about the sunnah of the sahabahs. Is there not only one sunnah, the Sunnah of Rasulu Allah (SAS)?

There's also Sunnah khulafaa ur Rasheedeen (Sunnah of the Rightly Guided Caliphs). Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him said (hadeeth 'Irbadh ibn Sariyah), Hold on to my Sunnah and Sunnah of the Rightly Guided Caliphs after me, hold on to them (bite with your teeth) firmly. And, beware of newly-invented matters on religion. And every innovation on religion is Bid'ah. And every single Bid'ah is misguided (deviant). So, everything (on the matter of religion) that is without the example of the Prophet or the Rightly Guided Caliphs (companions of the Prophet) is deviant. And everything that is deviant is in the Hellfire. Let's hold steadfast and firmly to the Qur'an and Sunnah by the way of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him. The manhaj of the pious predecessors (Salaafus Saleh). Do not follow any deviant sects. Let's just follows only one sect that is guaranteed entering Paradise (Jannah). Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him said about the saved sect, that is, whoever follows him and his companions.

One day Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) delivered us a very eloquent Khutbah on account of which eyes shed tears and hearts were full of tears. A man said: "O Prophet of Allah, this is as if it were a parting advice. So advise us". He (ﷺ) said, "I admonish you to fear Allah, to listen and obey even if an Abyssinian slave is appointed as your leader. Because whosoever among you shall live after me, will see much discord. So hold fast to my Sunnah and *the examples of the Rightly- Guided Caliphs* who will come after me. Adhere to them and hold to it fast. Beware of new things (in Deen) because every Bid'ah is a misguidance". [Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi].

Sister it's not Bidda if you do it according to the way of the Messenger of ,Allah (saw) But if your doing it different way then it's a Bidda. Every Religious action you do has to be according to the way the prophet Mohammed (saw) did it, if it's not the same then it's a Bidda because there is no other way but the way of ,Allah and his messenger

Alright Brother .. but after Al Quran have confirmed the Deen is perfect .. 11 How then 'Solaat uTaaraweekh (done in Jama'ah') was introduced during the reign of Caliph Umar RA?. Was that NOT an Innovation (Bid'ah) also?

Umar didn't introduce anything new, The Prophet used to pray taraweeh with the sahabah, but when he saw their enthusiasm, he was afraid that taraweeh might become obligatory so he stopped doing it, Umar only revived the Sunnah of the Prophet

Correct me if I'm wrong. But in the date palm incident didn't they say they are doing it as they saw their fathers doing? IMO That makes it almost like a superstition and justifies the Prophet's response.
