I ended up beating this game in one sitting after a friend got it and wanted me to try. He treated it like an interactive movie.

I thought this game was the SHT!!! One of my first Xbox games, I couldn't believe how good the graphics were and the fact you could see your legs when you looked down *blew my mind* 😂 The structure was perfect ATG for me - the memories are too good

I really liked this game back in the days, I can't believe it was 20 years ago Good indept video mate, keep up with the good work but your taking about the subject could be quite monotone sometime

I see a lot of gameplay of people treating the game asa FPS (in some aspects it is). I have always known about the movies but never watched them until a few days ago.Ended up beating butcher bay, now making my way through Dark Athena, NO GUNS however just Ulaks.

I agree there are some obligatory shooting sections but game is much more then just FPS.

@@SkavenGaming They totally turned dark athena into the stealth game it sould have been. I mean it is a lot more fun playing the way Riddick would go about it, without touching a single rifle.

@@7DuRd3n Yeah exactly i do really think they improved every aspect of the game in Dark Athena. They always give you different options on how you want approach every situation in the game be that shooting or stealth or even mix of both.

This game came out on PC but you can't find it anymore. Does anyone know why? I really want to play this again. But on PC

Both the original version Escape from Butcher Bay and the one included in the Assault on dark athena are not sold digitally anymore. Unfortunatly they are both abandonware but if you google it you should be able to find a way to download it and play on a PC.

i bought it on GOG long time ago and it is still in my library and can be downloaded.
