#TheEyeBehindThe Camera 🎬 | The documentary Alis, directed and produced by Nicolas van Hamelryck and Clare Weiskopf, won the Crystal Bear at the Berlinale and the Teddy Award. Since then, this co-production between Colombia and Chile has traveled the world, receiving 16 international awards and recognitions.
“Alis is a film about the power of the imagination. Each of these young women creates their own story. Already in the editing we build the same story that begins in a very superficial way, and that gradually becomes an emotional journey that takes us to worlds of darkness and light”, says van Hamelryck.
Among Alis's most recent achievements is being among the 10 most watched at the International Documentary Film Festival, IDFA, in the Best of Fests category, as well as winning the Miradas Medellín Awards in the Colombian Feature Film and Young Jury categories.
It will hit movie theaters next January 2023! 👏

#ElOjoTrasLaCámara 🎬 | El documental Alis, dirigido y producido por Nicolas van Hamelryck y Clare Weiskopf ganó el Oso de Cristal en la Berlinale y el Teddy Award. Desde entonces, esta coproducción entre Colombia y Chile, ha recorrido todo el mundo, recibiendo 16 premios y reconocimientos internacionales.
“Alis es una película sobre el poder de la imaginación. Cada una de estas jovenes, crea su propia historia. Ya en el montaje construimos un mismo relato que empieza de una manera muy superficial, y que va convirtiéndose en un viaje emocional que nos lleva a mundos de oscuridad y luz”, dice van Hamelryck.
Entre los logros más recientes de Alis figura estar entre lo 10 más vistos del Festival Internacional de Cine Documental, IDFA, en la categoría Best of Fests, así como ganar los Premios Miradas Medellín en las categorías Largometraje Colombiano y Jurado Joven.
