An old Ford would be awesome with a Cummins…a 79 longbed on like 37s with a 24v and a NV5600 is one of my dreams…A squarebody would be just as cool and honestly if I was in the market to build one it would come down to whatever I found first that fit my needs…a common rail would be even cooler too

@@ruttlicker1139 hell yeah, you are talkin my kind of language for sure. 79 ford or like a 86 chevy with a 12v, 6 or 8 inch lift and some like 37/12.5/17's. Dream truck. I really wanna do a lbz duramax build, like bad. Also wanna do a 7.3 powerstroke build

@@hellcat7978 I live in the PNW and always wanted a mid 80s Chev or slightly newer I like the front clips on the later ones..Anyways a 24v 6 speed on a longbed single cab truck with axles,clutch,tcase all being aftermarket or modified..basically a truck on some like 38.5 SX’s with a winch and capable of pulling a trailer.

pull the afc cover and see if the fuel rack moves. i had a stuck pump that the linkage moved free on but the rack was stuck

The rack in the pump is probably hung. Snatch it off and have it rebuilt. Get a 13mm pump or, if it isn’t already, get a 210 pump

Cable may be frayed and part is stuck and the rest to the pedal isn’t. I had an 89 that did that to me several years back, check at the throttle body.

a diesel runs away for one of 3 reasons. 1: the injection pump stuck open 2: the turbo blew 3: something is extremely wrong internally.
