There is actually a lot of support for slime . A lot of creatures grow with removal, summon random fodder, or revive after being killed, and a lot of the relics that create haste let you eat really quickly.

I kinda wish there was a gamemode where you could choose your starting buffs/debuffs, that Dangerous Maze looks super fun!

I've also seen a Slime build with Necromancy, so all Nature when removed becomes Undead - helpful for the sustain =D

Infinite skeletons, zombies, or most any other group works for likes as well, but tentacles are rough

Agreed on the build working just as well without using slimes, and with less risk of it failing. I wish they modified slimes to be more predictable in what they eat

I think a slime build would be more interesting if they could eat each other, then there was maybe a relic that made them split every few times they ate or something like that.

Funnily enough this build would’ve probably been better with just the dragons rather than slimes because they’d have just kept growing. So the slime was large not because slimes were good but because the dragons were good (just saw Reto say the exact same thing in response to another comment. Oh well, at least this comment feeds the algorithm)

Thinking back to one guy commenting a couple videos back. Took slime, said 'slime build!' And ditched it next turn. I bet they are real happy this build is finally here lol

watch the whole thing, the reason it is a good build has very little to do with _slimes_ being good lol. This build would have been _much_ stronger if I pivoted into literally _anything_ else I had going on the board. I stand by my opinion more than ever after this run.

Slimes are a do nothing unit except maybe they can give you free removal, or they could eat a very useful game winning unit. Raw damage means little to nothing with no effect, especially since slimes don’t even scale as well as some units with attack scaling. The TRex for example is a 9 dmg melee plus an AOE, why would we ever want the slime to eat that since the dmg will just be targeted onto one thing instead of doing the AOE.

Agree w Reto. Just the tentacle build by itself is stronger than slime combo.

@@Retromationabsolutely agree, lol. I wish they would tweak the slime to not eat a fully random target so you have some potential to build around it better. Possibly eats lowest rarity available. Then it's a scaling trash removal that has a small risk of eating something you want to keep rather than basically guaranteed to eventually eat your legendaries.
