this method is a lot easier to factorise cubics than the other manual/algebraic methods they teach you at A-level, thank you TGMT

Really useful and well explained video. The maths seemed relatively easy. Am I right to guess this are the easiest concepts of A level maths? Anyways thanks for these amazing videos. 👍

Great to hear it!! Thank you! Absolutely not this is all content from the first year of pure mathematics, the factor theorem tends to be taught around about the second half of the first year give or take! Don’t get me wrong there are still lots of very tricky topics to explore though 😁🙏🏼

How many marks would this question be in a real a level exam

2 marks for showing the factor, 4 marks for fully factorising the cubic. So 6 marks overall 😁🙏🏼
