I can’t help myself I have to bring up the “flickering, flicker it” thing. I think that is so funny! The flame of a candle flickers 🔥 lol. The way I’ve always heard it and said it was to “flick it, flick your wrist” but that was cute. Made me laugh:) You’re a very good educator though. I’ve been cutting hair for years but never stop watching videos, as I want to always keep learning. Nobody always knows everything, ya know? I struggle to this day with clipper over comb especially doing the entire back and sides like you did, without leaving lines. Your video was by far the most in depth and helpful I’ve watched and believe me, I’ve watched A LOT of them on clipper over comb. Keep producing content please, you’re amazing and very inspirational!

I know that we all learn as we go through trials and errors...however, to make the cut alot simpler, use a three to remove the bulk from both sides and back of head... It's alot faster and your cut won't take as long and clients won't have to wait too long... especially, your client won't be all uneasy sitting down for a long period of time...Then, use clipper over comb to clean and even up the sides and back of head....then begin your fade from creating...0 to 2 guard...if that....low fades cuts usually takes a little longer than usual since it's more detailed...

This guy has the same hair type like me. A lot of curls when it`s wet. At the finishing did you use a product? If its water based will maintain the curls. But it think you let the hair dry naturally when cutting and than you blow dryed it. I don`t like that curly fringe and it`s because you didn`t blow try when the hair was very wet. Good cutting skills and explained well. Your shears are mizutani?

Your videos are very helpful and you're an awesome educator ! I appreciate learning your techniques. I hope you keep going for a long time ! I am wondering why you are doing the first part with clipper over comb instead of using your clipper with a #3 or 4 ? Would it not be faster and possibly more accurate ?
@Myhaireducation
@Myhaireducation 6 жыл бұрын
Hey Pierre, thx for your feedback, you can definitely use a #3 or 4 clipper guard for faster work, I use a clipper over comb because I like the control it gives me to create my baseline. Cheers

Are you always leaning the comb on his head at every cut or are you holding it away from his head on some cuts ? I did 2 years college in the UK and they never ever allowed me to master this they just kept focusing on basics which was sad!
