205 for big water and storage . Gotta 4 lake Champlain and upper Chesapeake Bay. Get the green one lol... I have an old nitro 929 really like storage and size gives a little more confidence in rougher water. No matter which one have a great season. Thanks

205 for sure, need the space and storage for guiding and on tour. I would go with a evinrude just be aware of some extra expenses up front and color would be either white or gunmetal with garnet stripe

205 you need the extra hp in the FLW you need the extra width for stability on rough water and you know you're going to be in rough water Plus like you said with the 205 you can have two people standing up front and not crowded each other

Can't go wrong either way, only reason I could see to run a bigger wider boat would be running real big water, but a 95" beam on a 19.5 would still do great. Ever thought about running a Suzuki or Honda outboard? Frikkin workhorses both of em.

Yamaha is a beast

Gotta go with the 205, resale for a bigger boat with a 250 is so much better. Plus you’ll have the Evinrude service team while you’re on tour if you were to run into an issue.

I say run the 205 with the G2 also. My reasons are. First I plan to come to Lake Hartwell next year or this fall preferably to go on your guide trip and third I'm very interested in a new falcon with a 250 G2 on my next boat. I'm running a Strato 201 with a Evinrude E-Tec 250 and I love it the performance is great fuel is great pretty much maintenance-free and I still have 3 more years of warranty left on it and it's a 2014 .you can't beat that warranty package as well so go with the 205 with the Evinrude G2 that's my thoughts

195 for the narrower beam wich has its advantage. Smaller foot print...means tighter spaces. And more nimble handling characteristics. Get a 200 evinride all the motors are good. Go evinrude that g2 looks sick ....better fuel economy vs big boat with a 250. Its smaller but its not really a bad thing....big action can swamp a 21 footer just as easy as a 19

From an ole geezer that has run bass boats in tournaments for more decades than I care to admit. The 205 will be a better rough water boat. Your body will thank you for it. Your clients will thank you for it. To top it off, if you don't want to avoid being confused with someone that has scoliosis after a few seasons in a smaller boat in rough water. Go with the 205. Also tech support at tournaments should be the clincher. Can't make a check if your sitting at the ramp.

What about the Suzuki? The 250ss is an amazing engine and you wouldn’t need to worry. I would for sure go 205. You guys fish big water with a lot of boats. Hell, if I were in your shoes I’d go 215.

205. Bigger deck, handle close troughs in the waves better,,,Toledo Bend and Sam Rayburn.... you be much happier with the longer boat..when the seas get rough

Go with the 205 with with the g2 you can’t beat that. Or you get the the Yamaha with the 195 and chip it to a 250 for 1200$.

You'll end up with the 195 and Evinrude G2 HO because it's the most compelling package. The boat is quicker out of the hole and great economy in both fuel and efficiency. On the water that 195 feels bigger than most competitors 20 ft offerings so no loss of usability there. The other reason you will have the 195 is I remember in the intro video where you were shooting the Falcon Promo you said you wanted the 195. Nothing wrong with being smart with how you spend money. I applaud your decision, it makes 100% sense to me. Enjoy the 195 as this deal was done when you laid eyes on that boat! You heard it here 1st.

You should run the 195 if you are gonna run a yamaha. Yamaha will be the most efficient motor for you. Shouldn't need to worry about service at the tournaments. It's a great smooth running motor.

195 will be just as fast or 1 or 2 mph less but fuel economy of the 200 ho g2 over the 250 ho will be huge. Adds up big over a season. Sho with no service trailer equals issues.

205 for storage with an Evinrude for serviceability. I don’t mind the green as accents. Maybe silver/black and some green accents or pinstripes. Thanks for the tour BLAT, always enjoy your vids.

I have a Phoenix 819 with a 200 sho and it’s plenty big and GREAT on fuel!

To bad u cant run a 225 on the 195. I'm trying to come up with a reason other than a little more affordable going with the 195 but I got nothing. U guys fish big waters so bigger makes more sense to me. Which ever one handles all the different kinds of waves the best. Fuel capacity? That's really important for the big dogs. Yall wont hesitate to run 2 hours or more one way. No more c.o.'s right? Maybe a camera guy from time to time.? With all the crap that's in the back (bildge area)these days how do they sit in the water when fully loaded, gas, livewell, powerpoles..... will one handle at WOT better than the other. All valid questions imo. Good luck with whatever u choose. Love your videos, just the right amount of humor mixed in. Wait one last thing. Assuming Falcon is giving u the boat to use for 8 months then U sale it for Falcon when ur done, which is easier to sell? There are tons of max length tournament boats out there . I'd say way more than 19s for sho.

Running the 205 with a G2 now and love the combo. Always been a merc guy until this one, but the G2 is Strong.... I feel like the 195 would be cramped to fish the tour out of.

Brian, 205 with the Yammy SHO 250 for sure.....big lake requires big boats, started south Texas lake (Falcon/Amistad) fishing in 18 footer, was fun but scary when wind was blowing, went to a 20 footer, made a huge difference bridging those waves, easier on the back to....go with the gun metal, Gray and red stripe! GOOD LUCK!!

F205 in 2 tone grey with the blue stripe. Color and functionality and you already know the boat.

I would say the 195 all day with the four stroke but you guys run a LOT of big water! The smaller boat is so nice jumping from spot to spot, getting on plane, and towing! Either way I bet you can’t go wrong. Good luck!

205 for the space the stability in rough water and you have more control with the trolling motor and for long trips. The Yamaha for the reliability the speed strength and it looks REALLY good!!

You should play it safe and get the 205 and put the Envinrude on it... won't be a good situation if you have the 195 with a Yamaha and can't get it repaired if you break down. Lot of money on the line to throw away on a broke down boat.

195 with a g2 195 will be little lighter and with that g2 it’s gonna fly the take off speed on an evenrude is amazing plus you guys won’t run co anglers in 2019 so you don’t need the extra fishing space the marshal will be sitting down pretty much .

205 and the G2 would be my vote. You’re comfortable with the size of the rig, it’s proven on your. As for the G2, has great warranty coverage and a lot of folks running them with success on the tour.

most definitely the 205. The bigger hull should be able to handle rougher water. The new evinrude is not suppose to need service for what 5/6 years? Why can't you do the Mercury? Anyway for me it would be a 205 with 250 SHO

I like the big one. Red gray, But big motor doesn't always win tourneys. Just how much one's willing to put into it. Thanks for showing the work area. Really nice boats. Out helps when making that final decision. Why? More storage, wider decks, in the log run, it may hold its value depending on how well you maintain it.

Honestly, I run the Yamaha on my Skeeter and haven't had any problems; but you need to be able to have servicing on tour!

205 with the G2 service Trailer is a must. Plus the sho motor is about 10k more. Wider beam for better ride save your back. Bigger boat more storage. Definitely go with the silver an gun metal color. Run the Birds, talons, an ultrax an link them together.

Fishing the tour I would go with the 205 with G2. If I was just fishing small tournaments around my area I would be fine with the 195 but fishing bigger water on tour and guiding u should roll with the 205.

205 with evinrude 250. Reason Ive had a 19 ft ranger I chose the 19 because of layout and Im I am shallow water and flipping type. But being in west texas vs east texas or anywhere else I think the 205 would suite you better . Also i have yet to resd comments but you let the cat out of the bag. You said you guide !! Ialso guide and fish tournaments so that 205 is perfect As I stated. You can come down from larger boats but they all have there place. I love my ranger but I also would buy a 205 for those reasons the room and water you know you are going into. And large water means large waves but you also have another person on board. The motor is a no brainer as well. I like the mercs but i would give evinrude a green light as again you said you will not have yamaha service crews a. I thing that motor is far better than most.. I do not know

205 for better ride in the rough stuff. Rather have the heavier boat with better ride than lighter boat that gets blown around easier

205 gun metal with blue strip with the G2 because that 250 will help running around those bigger lakes

I’d stay in a 205 considering the tour goes to some big water, and it leaves more room for your guide trips on the side. Evinrude would be my last choice but it sounds like it would work best for your situation. And I’d ball on them and get black/grey/purple!

I think the 205 and the evinrude. You already know and have used that platform from what it sounds like itd just be a different motor. I personally wouldnt want to run the Yamaha not having ease of service during the tour, you may need that. For the cosmetic reason, i like that grey and blue the most. But no matter which way you go im looking forward to seeing you fish out of it and have great success

I wish I had problems like you B! lol Go big or go home! 205 for the extra space for guide tours and you're already comfortable with it. I've never heard anyone say they were happy they downgraded in size\space when it comes to bass boats. Also, gotta run that Evinrude since there's no service crew for Yamaha on the FLW. Sure, 2-stroke vs. 4-stroke arguments apply here, but you gotta have that support around you and it sounds like you only have it with the one brand making the choice seemingly pretty easy.

I also think you should run the 195 because when you need to get in those sticks a slightly bigger boat it just going to be harder to maneuver around, so with the 19 and 1/2 foot boat you can get in those sticks that much easier

What's up with Mercury?

I would recommend the F195 with the200Hp Mercury ProXS 4-stroke/Evinrude E-Tec. Not sure why you can't get your hands on the Mercury. I bought this same boat and loaded it out. I can easily reach speeds in the high 60s w 2 grown men and tackle(w/a Fury-4 4-blade prop). With the 3-blade, I imagine I would hit low 70s. With the smaller boat, you can get into some skinnier water than you could with the bigger boat. I haven't had in really rough water, so I can't attest to it's abilities, but so far mine has done really well in choppy water from wind and big takeoffs. I have even passed some bigger boats running to my first spot. You have already ridden in one, so you KNOW it rides like a bigger boat, very comfortably. Your color choices won't really matter as I assume it will be wrapped for the duration of YOUR ownership. Oh yea, don't scoff too hard at he lime green, my Black/Lime Green looks AMAZING!!!! ;)

B Lat - Evinrude is the easiest decision to make. Run it. Call Scott and talk to him about his. Bad machine and faster than a Merc or SHO

205 with the evinrude. It won’t let you down and the bigger boat handles rough water much better. Oh B, don’t get no green. Keep it gunmetal, black and a red pin. It’ll be awesome!

205 with g2 because the g2 has better speeds and hole shot, the 205 would be better because every tournament it seems like there is rough water.

Get a purple (accent color) and dark grey one (primary color). I saw a purple on their instagram page one time but can't find it now. I'm talking about what dodge calls plum crazy and maybe on a 205 with the evinrude. That would be my dream boat atleast.

Think 195 will be best on tour. Rick Clunn has been using 18.5 and you can maneuver that Boat around cover and get into spots 205 will bd e challenging to do.
