😂😂 I thought the falcon was going to be a bird. I must be made of sugar cause I keep avoiding the rain. I went away from gopro. Couldn't stand the problems I was having.

I made it sound like we were going bird watching with a twist at the end 😆. Thanks for watching. The worst thing about rain is fogging up and water gets on the inside of visor . Looking at the dji for my next camera when the 5 comes out.

Great video Bazz and a great ride! I realised later that I had the mic gain turned up on the gopro9 for my other mic, needs turning down to use on a helmet. Sorry about that. At least you got some footage you would of missed out on.

looks like a great ride...also looks like you're enjoying the CF450; i just ordered one from MCLAND Ballarat; my first Brand new bike in many years; nearing 60 i've decided to slow things down a bit and leave the Enduro bikes to the young blokes; built more for comfort than speed these days....i've now subbed so i can 'troll' all that you do with the CF450

Thanks Mark , I'm nearing 60 too and same reason I bought the 450. I do have two other bikes but probably won't ride them now.

@@bazz6670 yeah i've still got a 'modern' enduro Husaberg FE501 (03) (my favourite bike ever!) and a few Vintage MX weapons but i haven't been riding them; as much as i love them, the 'Berg is bloody hard work to ride these days (pay attention at all times son); it's not a bike built for taking it casually and nor is it comfortable to sit on for any amount of time; and i don't bounce anywhere near as good as i used to! as much as i love racing the VMX bikes, it has become stupidly expensive for me; i can't justify to myself spending near $300 to do about Two hours of riding; a few hours travelling in the car; fuel to get to the track; fuel for the bikes; entry fee; license fee; food and drinks...it all adds up; i'm out near Avoca in the Pyrenees; where's your home base?
@bazz66708 күн бұрын

@@bazz6670 ah...i was hoping you'd be a bit closer; not to worry; there are some great tracks in the Pyrenees ranges; did a bit of riding up at Mt. Cole on my (then) '06 Gas Gas 450 but was limited by fuel capacity; i lived pretty much at the base of Mt.Cole (Elmhurst) at the time so going for a quick roost in the hills wasn't an issue; did run out of fuel one day though which made for a very long walk in MX boots.... now where we are i have about 2K's of tar before i hit the dirt into the hills; i haven't explored as much as i'd like to due to the Husaberg being the thirsty beast it is but i have a good loop to Avoca where i could get fuel; have a good loop to Elmhurst and back but nearly ran out of fuel...then on my last ride on the 'Berg i had a 'not-too-clever', way-too-fast sideways moment beside the railway tracks and broke Two ribs (among other things) when i high-sided onto the tracks; took me about half hour before i could pick the bike up; that put an end to my solo adventures. i don't get up as quick these days!

Do you have the code or bane for the Barkbusters you are using? I have seen in a mag they have 450MT hand guards but when I have looked on their web site they don't have any in stock and the ali guards are blanked out. For a new item I would have thought they would have plenty made and ready to sell. I have been trying to find something that would fit as the plastic guards won't help much in a fall.
@bazz667016 күн бұрын
If you look on the net at the barkbusters site it says they have them . I actually bought the hardware from mx247 store and storm covers from AMX. I was doing a vid on them but become corrupted and couldn't use footage. Cheers

@@bazz6670 Thanks for the reply, I look forward to a full test, according to my local CFMoto dealer the 450MT's are "on the water". Looks like a great bike and I love that sound but I'm not prepared to have GS like consumption...so 4-4.5 sounds great not sure about speeds though. Maybe a tank to tank video is needed ;).

I am eyeing on 450MT and Husky TR650 currently. Would you take 450MT over Husky and if yes, why? How would you compare those regarding weight and handling offroad?
@bazz667013 күн бұрын
I would would ride 450 mt any day, it is way smoother motor over the single. The tr is more bush bike, I find it quite a small feeling bike and ergonomics don't suit me. I ride long distances to get to places and I don't think I tr would be very comfortable.. got to remember 450 mt is a new design with much better features. Hope that helps,

@@bazz6670 Thanks a lot! I need to go and test drive those both. As I have Honda XR400R which I am going to keep (forever), more touring oriented 450MT seems a better option to compliment XR at this point. On paper at least. 😊
