Thanks. Much cleaner than so many of the song clips from this show. 1983, my first duty station at an RAF base in England, a yank away from home with a love for The Fall. I paid $$$ to get a copy of Hex when I was poor and it was an import. My military mates were not exactly fond of my music choices- this was the era of Flashdance, but also Murmur/Mission of Burma/Pylon for American records. The Fall was a bridge to far for many. When I heard there was a possibility I wouldn't be working of the days around this gig (thanks NME), two of us made the then over six hour drive from our base in Suffolk and had the best night of our then lives. I keep thinking I can see my head, but that's just hopeful. Live, the two drummers hit your chest hard. The jams I remember most were of course Garden, but Voxxish scratched and itch. Appreciated you letting me relive one point in my younger days. Cheers.

An American Fall fan, well done, I was amazed at how well the fall was received in America, I did expect someone to threaten Mark with death (an American tradition when they are confronted with things beyond their imaginations) I got into them in 77 thanks to J Peel, the first time I saw them about 50 people watched them, they were supporting for someone I can't remember now, but most people went to the bar and Mark told them to f**k off and don't come back and when one did mark said were is my drink you c**t, He was and still is a true British working class genius at the understatement, I'm glad you got it,

paul was a baby, too young to tour america at the start of his time in the fall plus he was finishing his high schooling and was being encouraged to finish his studies. karl was enigmatic and unpredictable. so there was a patch where they might have paul or karl or paul and karl together. i suggest reading bass player Steve Hanley's book if you ever want to explore what the ever changing point of the fall was at any one time or another.

Karl Burns completely unnecessary bass noodling on 'Voxish'...one of the greatest drummers around titting about when one of the greatest bass players around had it covered, thankyou very much. If you had a choice of Karl Burns and Paul Hanley on the drums, I think Burns might just edge it, considering he was Karl fucking Burns!
