Saw them perform "I am curious Orange" in Edinburgh in the late 80's. Didn't understand a lot, but it's stayed with me visually ever since. Exceptional artists and performers.

it's like an evolved andy warhol/velvets performance.....i saw michael clarke dop his bowie/velvets thing earlier in the year...had to go back and watch it three times it was that good.....mark e smith really broke some new ground with the way he approached vocals....thanks for posting...loved it
