I saw a performance by, and met Damo Suzuki earlier this evening in Edinburgh. He radiates good feelings and happiness. See him perform any chance you get. He's planning on continuing this world tour until he drops dead (preferably on stage). I was blown away! Peace to all the mighty, mighty Fall fans.

a masterful dark tribute to can. a tether to two great bands at once. mark does it correctly in a way that his acolytes can only imitate.

yeah one of the all-time classic Fall tunes from one of their greatest line-ups, greatest albums and (from this evidence) greatest gigs ... alas, I would have been a mere six years old at the time ...

May we go back to days pre-Virgin Cannot get on clear vinyl The handle that was brass, is now brass evil The rock that was an egg, is in wrong cradle The hand that cradles the rock, makes egg gooey I am Damo Suzuki What a tune.

Totally love it. When I die - which won't be long - will direct people to my several choices of Nations Grace - possibly my all time favourite album - ultra tough call - Rate it above Stones Let It Bleed and Exile, Beatles - most!, Lamb / Broadway , VDGG - Still Life - phenomenal record! ... Screamadelica, Stone Roses 1st, list can go on and on - as any of our lists will - but anyone who says "Talk Talk" I will bar immediately - for obvious reasons ... The Fall .. MES - number 1 always!!

Dang! That squeak of Mark is as piercing as Blixa's screech! Very nice.
@elizabethhann40285 жыл бұрын
Good point. I've never heard anyone comparing Mark's vocals to Blixa's (and I'm a fan of both artists), but the more I listen to this recording, the more I think you're right. Cool!
@tryfishin93 жыл бұрын
Thats true! always think of Blixa when I hear those screeches. The first one to do that screech was Roger Waters in Careful with that Axe, Eugene or maybe Iggy in Funhouse
@fractaljack3 жыл бұрын
@@elizabethhann4028 Somehow I missed your comment, Elizabeth. It's nice that someone else can hear what I hear, lol.
@fractaljack3 жыл бұрын
@@tryfishin9 Good point, Cris. When I saw EN back in Chicago in the early 1980s, Blixa's screetch was WAY louder then any circular saw or cement mixer that was roaring on the stage!
