Extricate was realeased 19th Feb 1990, and this was a promo appearance for the album, so it's some time late Feb / early March 1990.

Presumably recorded some time just after Frank Zappa died on 4 Dec 1993, and at any rate before 9 Jan 1995, when Peter Cook (listed in the credits) died.

@@johnfenner8838 Yes - Martin's doing those plectrum slides up and down the E string... Ironic that the camera barely even notices Craig, way back on stage right, given that it's his song as MES notes. This has to be the only time The Fall ever had a 3 guitars + flute + DJ decks line-up! As someone else points out below, you can just make out the BBC MCMXC (= 1990) at 1:57 -- so it was 3 years or so before FZ passed away.

It's more like 'Frank Soy Yo', I think: a grand statement like 'I Am Damo Suzuki' (a Fall song) or Dalí's 'el surrealismo soy yo'.

Martin is the left handed guitarist, behind Mark, Craig is the other leftie at the far left of the screen- seen at the very end.
