Sadly true. My parents were married 62 years but we never had love in that household. They lived separate lives. Thankfully, mom made sure my sister and I were trained young in the ways of the Lord. See Proverbs 22:6. Blessings and may you know the fullness of God's love in your home.

Can only partially agree. My husband and I were very much in love. But we could eat, we could sleep. What you seem to have had is indeed not healthy at all and that might have come from some form of trauma and intense desire, that caused over-idealization. And that intense first love, that my husband and I had for each other wasn't exhausting and unsustainable at all. It was energizing and sustaining us. Life, with all its unrighteousness and abuse comes and buffets you, but our love was a safe haven to come home to. I do agree, that after a while you indeed start to see each other's annoying little habits, but even here love helps overcome many of those, and when not, fuels the compassion towards each other. IF your love is grounded in God and you vow to love and serve one another forever. There's no quick way out. Then, when the deep crises of life come, your love is tested harshly, but still can shine victoriously. That you write that the real love is from parent to child, like it is so 'instead', is simply not true. That is another very sacrificial form of love. But it doesn't negate the other one. In fact, the love for one another will help both partners share in the burdens of parenthood. One can learn a lot though from raising children, as they have to come first and your own desires follow after the Needs of the child are met. So, we ought to take care of each other in the church, especially the new believers, which can be a bit complicated in their needs (at first). May God continue to shine his love in and through us towards all, but especially to our spouses. We are all looking forward to a wedding in heaven, and it would be absurd to think that love was only there to 'procreate' something. I very much expect that intense bond of love between Jesus and us to last forever, and it indeed energizing and sustaining us.

Live-streaming WITH many muslims? What does righteousness have in common with unrighteousness? You cannot serve God and satan (allah) at the same time. Not sure what you are trying to convey here. God loves us all and the first thing He does when we draw closer, is to show us what we have to repent of that is not of Him. Without that, the light is that of a jack-o-lantern, leading people to be lost in a swamp with their 'spiritual guide'.

Many different kinds of love. I don't love my neighbors like I love my husband. My love of God and Jesus is completely different from the other two. My love for my children is another love .The way I see it I got so much love to give there is no room for hate ❤

I loved my ex wife also . That is why Jesus Christ got rid of her from me because she hated Him and loved her family more and would not separate from them.

There is an instance in the Bible, where it says that Jesus hid Himself from the people, because He knew what was in their hearts. God still helps the humble, but resists the haughty. We may take his example. You can love such difficult family members from a healthy distance and not be abused by them. You can pray for them, that their eyes may open one day. In the meantime you are Not the doormat.

Even if a certain part of loving might not be on your radar right now, that doesn't mean you don't love. Or let's hope it doesn't mean that. We are all called to love God above all else with all we have and are and to love our neighbors as ourselves. That will keep us occupied. For it means, that we see Jesus in the person without a home AND will not give that person a handout, but will strive to give that person a home. We're so used to loveLESS behavior, that we too often participate in that. But we ought to be completely different.

I think he told you that because he knew it would hurt not because it's true. You can honour your father by avoiding conflict with him. You don't have to scream! And the love of God is SO much more, than just that. Remember when Jesus taught to people to love your neighbor as yourself? Look up the story of the 'good Samaritan' in the Bible. THAT is the love of God. That looks beyond superficial enemy lines, that goes above and beyond for even an unknown stranger. That's how God loves us and expects us to choose to love Him back by. "What you did for the least of these, you did for Me".

Actually, it ought to inspire what we do and feel. When love doesn't 'do', it for sure is not love. The Bible warns us on several occasions, that we must love one another in word AND deed. To express nice feelings, but not help with pressing problems, is without value. Yes, it is even so, that when we know how to help, but we don't, that it is sin to us. So, I agree with the Christian song text that says: "Love is something you DO. Not always something you can feel, but it's real." Look at how Jesus taught us to love our neighbor and see how much the Samaritan DID. Luke 10.
