'The Famous 4' pulling into York Station, 23/04/17

This has to be one of the best days of my trainspotting days. Today I visited York Station on the East Coast Mainline to see a world famous event taking place, a 125 HST, 225 Intercity Set, Azuma and The Flying Scotsman all pulling into York to celebrate this momentous occasion

800s aren't horrible. But the Deltic was actually the longest serving train on there and not even at the front XD

Great video mate. Shame the Deltic was on the rear. They could have had it pulling something. Nothing famous about that rubbish from Hitachi though!

I've seen a lot of mixed reactions to the Deltic being on the rear of the Scotsman, if the line were 5 tracks wide I think they would've deeply considered doing it

I think the Deltic should have taken prime spot over the Hitachi rubbish as it hasn't exactly proved itself yet and bearing in mind it's not a patch on the HST and 91+MK4 stock, it's a bit of a joke really.

The whole point was to show off the new trains. Without the Hitachi, there would be no event at all.
