Hey great informative video! And entertaining 🙂 Me and my partner are in chiang Mai this week and really want to do this. Not quite confident enough to rent a moped, and looked at these red cars as an alternative! Question is - Are there taxis/red cars taking you back into chiang Mai city area? 😁

Great question! Your taxi/red car will wait for you in the car park if you arrange this with them. It's standard practice because you are in the middle of nowhere and there is no way to organise a new lift.

where did you book the red car and did you book in advance?

We didn't book, they line the streets of Chiang Mai so you won't have a problem finding one. If you would rather not chance it, speak to your accommodation and they will arrange one for you. Hope you have a great time!
