This cake melts in your mouth! A big cake for a big family!
For cream:
Egg yolks (3 pcs.)
Sugar (100 g / 1/2 cup).
Vanilla sugar (1 tsp).
Corn starch (25 g / 2.5 tbsp)
Milk (350 ml / 1+2/5 cups).
Cook over low heat until thickened.
Butter (70 g / 3 tbsp).
Cool in the refrigerator.
For the test:
Soft butter (100 g / 4 tbsp).
Sugar (100 g / 1/2 cup).
4 egg yolks.
Milk (50 ml / 1/5 cup).
Flour (150 g / 1 cup).
Baking powder (1 tsp).
For the meringue:
4 egg whites.
Sugar (200 g / 1 glass), add in 3-4 stages.
Lemon juice (1 tsp) or citric acid (1 pinch).
Line a baking tray approximately 24 x 36 cm / 9.5" x 14" with baking paper.
Chopped almonds (100 g / 1/2 cup).
Bake at 170℃ (338℉) for about 35 minutes.!
For cream:
Whip cream with a fat content of 33-36% (200 ml / 4/5 cup).
Mix the custard into the whipped cream in several stages.
