I found a vintage Nike windbreaker from the 90’s for $6.99. It was a rare, really colorful one. I sold it in just a day for $200! It was one of my best sales this year.

I love your videos! I have learned so much from you as I'm also a stay-at-home mom starting my own ebay business. :) If you hadn't of mentioned the brand Rothy's I wouldn't have known they were so valuable as I found 2 basically brand new pairs at my local thrift today for 8 bucks a piece. Fast- active wear, outdoor wear 1. Nike (sneakers, vintage, hoodies, jackets etc.) men’s sell faster 2. Patagonia (honorable mention North Face) 3. LuLuLemon (gymshark and Zyia honorable mention) 4. Smart wool (Mammut, Cotopaxi, Brands REI sells honorable mentions) 5. Birkenstock SLOW 1. Joie, Theory 2. Anthropologie 3. Athleta 4. JCrew, Madewell 5. Yes!! Mall brands do surprisingly well if they're recent or NWT (for me). Even if not, they can do well at the right price. I love seeing what others sell in their stores because it really does vary so much!

Love you and your videos! I'm just starting out, I have stuff, but I'm trying to navigate the process and be sure I know how to list, weigh, ship. etc. I have twin girls and a son in highschool. I have been an engineer for 15 years for a utility company and I went out to have back surgery, I hated my job and didn't want to go back, but my salary was tough to give up. Really, though, I used to pay in taxes and for the first time in years, I got a tax return because I'm so poor this year on paper LOL. so... I'm loooking at alternatives. Karen from Lavender Clothesline makes being a reseller look so easy, but she is a machine. I'm kind of scared, but trying to learn all I can from videos like yours. I appreciate this so much! Really enjoyed this video!! Ho I too find my luxury sits and sits on eBay so just today I sent list that I want to send and waiting on sheet back from them so I can take to UPS. I sure hope my items sell within a few days like yours!! I drug my feet over the commission but what good does it do me if they are still sitting... I have several Nike items that I now know I need to get listed!!! Thanks again!!lll

Untuckit, Barbour and Robert graham are now slow sellers and prices have dropped quite a bit. I'm picky with these brands.

I wonder if some of the slow movers are because the shoppers at Macy's and Nordstroms, who know those brands are not often eBay shoppers. Maybe? I don't know, just a thought. Great video; a plethora of information. I had to pause and take notes the whole way through!

BIG problem is....EVERYONES a dealer/seller...really now!!! Its got such a saturated market and everytime people drone on re vintage i want to yawn.......i find good high street eg Zara stuff sells well but for less re prices....people are fed up with `vintage` i rarely wear it as i think its for younger kids and dont want to look like an older person trying to keep up with the `trends`..nothing worse than looking like a fashion victim desperately trying.....plenty of them in London

A few weeks ago I picked up two REI pants. I was so excited. Both in good condition, one women’s and one men’s zip off pants. However, they are still sitting. Are they a bad brand? I have both listed for about $30 but they haven’t moved. Love your videos, thanks!

If they are branded as "REI", then they will likely move slower (in my experience). If they're a brand that's SOLD at REI (like north face, patagonia, etc) then it'll move quickly. Sorry, I should have clarified that a little better! I have had REI branded items sell for me still - just a little more slowly and for maybe less than I anticipated. :)

Real Real is more towards high class buyers or people who like luxury items. Ebay is more towards middle or low class buyers who just want to buy items for a deal. I do keep selling items on ebay because I already am a top rated seller, plus I already have a lot of feedback so that helps me sell higher end items that a lot of buyers are scared or buying due to a lot of fakes being sold online.

Not all these brands sell fast because the market is constantly changing. I’ve had Docs, Nike, and even Lululemon sit for a long time. They were all under $60

I’m considering starting a company in my warehouse to where eBay sellers would send me their inventory and items they find to resell. I would list the item on eBay for them, store, pick and ship the items for the seller. Do you think this would be of any value to full time sellers?

You would be limited to your area only unless your as big as Amazon and can get cheap contract shipping rates. As a seller I wouldn't ship you my items to list , it sounds like it would be alot out of the sources pocket.. Maybe just a virtual assistant listing company might be better? Or a consignment business?

@@user-lk1qx7gb5o Hey there! I’m not exactly sure. I still haven’t started this business but am still considering. It would likely be something close to $5 per item if you listed the item and I fulfilled it, and $10 if I did the listing and fulfillment. Obviously this would work for very specific type of sellers. If you bought a vacuum for $20 and sold it for $100 then this pricing structure would work. If you are buying clothing for $5 and selling for $15 then that wouldn’t work for obvious reasons.

@@emilynicholson1752 Hey Emily, I know this is a extremely late response. How it would probably work is that the seller would accumulate items until they could ship me the items in bulk. Depending on the cost to ship I would either cover the cost or share the cost.

I got locked out my account when evay switched from paypal to bank account and i cant reset it because the email i used us from 15 years ago when i set up the account and i never used it so my email is locked out and the phone number with my account was a home phone because i didnt have a cell phone when I opened the account. I had years of good feedback back and almost 200 listings and now i have no access to my account people are buying things money is going into my account abd i dont know what they bought and cant send them anything i have no access to their info. There is no customer service basically and nothing they can or will do so when the customer never receives their item then ebay refunds them so i hsve money going in and out of my account plus all my feedback is probably bad because people arent getting their items. Im at this point just waiting for them to close my account so im done with ebay i relisted most of my items on Facebook market place and sold them faster that way anyway. Ebay is a horrible company has horrible if no working customer service.

can you please explain selling $1000 of stuff on amazon and profiting $26,000 , what items did you send in? did you need individual barcodes for each item?

If you sell on Amazon merchant fulfilled, which means you sell and ship, you don’t need a bar code. Ashley sells FBA so sends items into Amazon. That requires you to set up an account as a seller with Amazon and follow their process to prepare each item to send into Amazon and you will print a sheet of barcodes to apply to your items. Amazon has some fantastic teaching tools that will walk you through the process.
