Quarter Mile Time: 9.9 seconds that is fucking pathetic compared to my damn ford fairlane with a 426 cobra lol... acid dipped,, light as hell, and only 600 ish horsepower... yet it broke high 7's guess fast dont mean quicker.... and top fuel rail dragsters regularly break 4 seconds...

GT is a modified version of Lotus car so how can it be fastes production car when the base car is made by different company 🤔🤔.

You know the sr-71 lost so much fuel on takeoff that they have to be immediately refueled in the air. They had to get the titanium body to expand as a result of temperature so they wouldn't be leaking like a sieve.

Actually I have to step in here.. The X-15 and SR-71 are both record holders in their own right. One did not out do the other as they are in their own respective categories record holders unmatched by anything currently made public today. The X-15 is a rocket plane, defined in the set record as a manned, powered aircraft. Whereas the SR-71 falls within the category of the fastest air-breathing manned aircraft, the defining characteristic being the fact it takes air into the engines and the X-15 does not.

The fastest Ambulance in Dubai the Lotus Evora, I just drove one this summer & definitely was a fast car with its twin scroll supercharger & mid engine set up! Only 2 in Canada of this car & I got to drive it have to say it was rather fun, the owner has few unique car's one of which he just purchased while at Goodwood Revival in UK I can't wait to see it!

True. Light is pretty slow, if you actually want to do anything. At light-speed our closest star is still 2.4 years away (I might be wrong on that 2.4 years a bit. It has been 30 years since I looked into space stuff). oops I was wrong. It is 4.3 years at light-speed, away from us. Even mars is a like 20 minutes at light-speed.

@flip inheck not anymore it doesn't. the veyron set the record about 6-7 years ago but everyone (or at least every car person) knew that cars like the Agera R, the Venom GT, and the Ultimate Aero XT are faster
