C02 is good but I found that getting it filled is a problem. You have to have your nice bottle sent to Phoenix from here with all the normal bottles for filling which takes a few days. Also the valve tends to freeze after one tire making the rest of the tires slow to fill.
@kmbriggs26933 ай бұрын
Not sure what your point is. Are you a Nascar pit crew ? How do you fill tank again if you need more air. I use an old a/c compressor and have 110 psi constant and can run air tools with it also . Driven off crank shaft .

$20 to fill the tank at any fire extinguisher shop, and the 15-pound bottle fills forty 37's from 0 to 30psi.

Filling it that quickly would be a cold air fill. How much does the pressure change when the tire gets hot driving on pavement? If you used nitrogen it wouldn't be as big if any issue at all.

Why are people asking about paying to fill the tank up? Could a normal 12v 4wd compressor fill it back up while you drive to the next air down / air up section?
@SimoColes2 ай бұрын
No you can't fill it yourself. It takes liquid CO2 and it so fast because it's compressed to a lot higher pressure then a regular compressor can go. You can run a tank on your vehicle fitted compressor to make it run faster. But it will be no where near as fast as this product
@TheCajunGaijinАй бұрын
@@SimoColesyou could run a scuba tank that gets filled with a pretty standard compressor that any dive shop will have. They come in different capacities. Then you could run up to 3000psi in an aluminum tank instead of 800psi in a steel tank like this with the CO2.

@mattkandel2449Ай бұрын
@Jay-me7gw - as in it fills all 4 at the same time?
@Jay-me7gwАй бұрын
@@mattkandel2449 Correct. Four 315/70R17's from 5 to 35 psi in ~7 minutes. Half the reason it takes so long to fill tires is the amount of backpressure the tire valve creates. That means the pump is having to push against much higher pressure air which increases heat and decreases flow from the compressor. By filling all 4 tires at once you create little to no backpressure on the pump since its flow through 4 valves at once. That means the pump can operate cooler and at higher flow rates.
