This is a song where you need to have a band meeting before practicing it. The solo and interlude portion could throw off the rhythm section if they haven't listened to the song closely. This is a great song and excellent tutorial. Thanks!

I know right? I was really impressed by this guy who actually DID transcribe it and play it in F# that I saw on here. I was like...you know that's in F right?

I only know two guys who wrote a song in F#. Bach and Tom McDermott. And in the book "New Orleans Piano Legends", Blueberry Hill is Transcribed in B Natural. Use your head people.

Fabulous lesson - thanks Arthur. At the end of each verse you do a turn round with an implied C chord in the right hand, but the left hand is playing an F chord; why is that? Robin.

Thanks Robin! Im just playing what he does on the record.. I’m not sure why people did that implied turnaround with just the RH but it does work. I’ve definitely heard other people do it. Maybe it’s a little more hard-driving because it doesn’t interrupt the chord in the LH and the song just keeps trucking along on the I-chord.
