This is a great movie. Karloff is at his best and Reynolds give outstanding performance. The script is entertaining and plausible. It's even interesting seeing pre-war San Francisco. Thanks for posting.

The funny thing is, I've only ever chosen "speak to an operator" and it's always the last choice. These days when you can go to their website it seems weird to not just assume you need to talk to someone or you wouldn't have called. Usually they even tell you how to go to their website! On the phone!? Like Google was never invented, sheesh. It was bullshit then but it's redundant bullshit now. And why does every business or government agency think you've come to them to learn about covid? That's not been one time what I was calling the DMV or whoever for and I can't imagine it ever would be.

Wait a minute: Jason Robards? The senior to the junior? Too bad IMDb doesn’t list them more closely together. Nice that the father got to see his sons success. Btw, I didn’t know Robert Redford was in Iceman Cometh. Have to watch that one again when I’m in an impervious mood. ;).

my comment might be somewhat bias with I too being a S.E Londoner. William Henry Pratt aka Boris Karloff from Dulwich, S.E London. was one of the Greatest actors of early Talkies, along with Leslie Howard whom was from just down the Road, Forest Hill S.E London, all local boys!!.

Interesting/informative/entertaining. Enjoy viewing the automobiles/phones/carpentry work/clothing of that era-!!!😉. Realistically portrayed citizens/criminals/law enforcement officials. Along with the roll over play dead scenes/no gory stuff-!!!🤗. A classical example of down to earth🌎. Gum shoe detective work-!!!😉. Ahhh-!!! A water cooler in the office😉. Wonder why no one took a paper cup full & drank from it-???🤔. Love the way that gal with the feather hat fainted
