So, i have a question: Does it really matter? If we are being visited, what can REALLY be done? We can hope they are friendly. We can hope that this world would treat them as equals and not dissecet them. Why only hope? Because the worlds governments are so selfish they seek to build up their tech without even asking help from their own countries.

I remember back when I was in college we had heard rumors of The Gelatinous Federation you speak of here. It is certainly uncertain if certain Federations do indeed exist due to uncertain facts, data and evidence that may or may not exist either now in the past or perhaps in the future.
