Like my Joseph, i was always bullied when I played Hastur when I first bought him, when I tried Devastery's tips for Joseph, I reached crocodile, i hope I can master Hastur with your tips as well! Hi Bleber, thanks for this guide on Hastur I mained him since the last 3 season but Its a pain when I got to Manticore rank and I feel depressed everytime I lose because Ive been grinding for that C badge then I saw your guide and man it feels so good to be back in action. Eversince I discovered your channel makes me wanna use Feaster. Your guide is really helpful... Feaster is indeed OP when using it in the right way. I was today years old when I learned that feasters had that ability to hit survivors with their tentacles despite an obstacle blocking the view... 😭😭 thank you so much for this video it helped me out a lot!! I'm practicing feaster and jeez i was wondering how they did that 🥲

I love your guide! I bought Hastur for you, you are an inspiration to me! Hey, I also want to ask you: if Tinnitus prompt you when a survivor is within 36 meters, how many meters do you need to be from a survivor for the tentacle stack to recharge faster? 🤔

Hastur charges his tentacle whenever there's a nearby survivor within fear range. I don't know how large it is in meter but I think it's almost the same

If youre blind(like me who cant see the blood trail properly),i recommend peeper,then it depends on you if you want on persona top or right,i recommend top because usually on me the survivors die before they decode all ciphers,but i use right for my complete win.

How about charge attack? Hastur have a long hitbox with charge attacks. It might help to save tentacles

I have no idea how you managed most of those tentacle hits in the example game, when I play I can't deal with the cooldown time between placing a tentacle and attacking, and the game never lets me attack with tentacles that aren't in my direct line of sight without a wall in between

Hey Bleber , i wanted to ask you if i should hold the attack button , to use my tentacle , when i spawn it , or spam click ? Because it often tells me that there's no Tentacle in range while it clearly is which quite annoying

Maybe you are too far away from that tentacle. Both hold-click & spam-click should be fine

How do you hit with tentacles that are behind a wall?when I try that it says no tentacles in range even if it’s right on the other side of a wall.

Maybe the survivor wasn't close enough to the tentacle, that's why it says no tentacles in range

Not automatically and not 100% accurate. And right now they can run near tentacle triggering the button to be activated, you tap it, but survs are too far from hit -_-. I hate this change

İ have been playing hastue for a while now. But he cant hit when the tentacle is behind the fence or wall...

He can do that only when his presence is fulfilled. Use the ink curse (nightmare gaze) to 1 survivor. You will be able to use tentacles on that survivor without any distance restrictions for 20 seconds

I have a question how can you hit survivors that are circuling the tentacles???

You can't hit them if they are circling the tentacle, but they are trading their gap to dodge the tentacles. If you see they are about to leave the tentacle, hit them with the tentacle. If they are keep circling, go get closer to them ;) it's all about timing, that's why his ink-curse reworked, you can time the tentacle hit manually

bleber, i love using patroller but some days i have a really hard time controlling it so i end up wasting it when i use it. on those off days, what do you recommend i carry instead? or do you just stick with patroller when it happens to you (if it does)?

I'm not sure if you still need this but I use peeper 😅 I'm also having a hard time controlling Patroller so I'm using peeper. It's really helpful especially when survs camp behind pallet or to see those coming for rescue. It also helps me with my tentacle placements especially behind walls.

@@Bleber one difference I can see is that patroller’s bite is much quicker than before. When placing tentacle when patroller does his thing the tentacle won’t finish spawning animation before bite animation ends. I don’t know how to explain it properly with my English, right now to hit survivor with patroller using tentacle you need to place tentacle right before patroller bites. I hope it was clear enough to understand
