For a live video check out their "Sea Shanty Medley Live". It's right on top of their page. I saw them live at the beginning of December and can confirm that there is virtually zero loss when they go live. Their harmonies are still tight with no noticeable rub. You should totally see them live if they are coming near you. They usually do smaller venues with tickets running from $39-69 for regular seating.

All a cappella. The man in the knit hat is Avi Kaplan, the bass for Pentatonix. Home Free’s bass, Tim, did the last note. They can all sing and all beatbox but their beatboxer Adam, is insanely good. Adam Rupp Drum Solo (2015) for the skeptic. They sing a lot of covers but also have many originals. Their last album was all originals. 🤩

"What happen if they go live and do concerts?" ...you had me giggling :D I've been to 2 concerts already. Hope y'all can catch up to the Home Fries (Home Free fans) soon. :D

the beatboxer also has a video out of his drum solo

Ohh what's the name of that video?

@@LouThunderBomb There are actually several. Just search Adam Rupp drum solo. Just be sure to pick one with a lot of views. He does a drum solo in all concerts, so any twit with a phone can upload a crappy recording.

I love Johnny Cash and this version of Ring of Fire is, well, fire. The voice changing guy is Avi Kaplan. He was with Pentatonix. Check out their version of Hallelujah. Both Home Free and Pentatonix sound absolutely fantastic live.

I'll definitely check them out. I'm going to become a vocal band groupie lol.

@@LouThunderBomb I love that you’re open to a variety of music. I’ve listened to everything from Aerosmith (my first concert) to Queensrÿche to Pentatonix, Taylor Swift, BTS and everything in between.

They can do all their music live - covers and originals. Check out their concerts.

Check out their Sing Off (a capella competition) series = Winners. This is the first time they debut Ring of Fire.

I have seen Home Free 3 times...the Nomonica is a real thing...only Adams voice.

Their singing & harmonies are always terrific & Adam's beatboxing is incomparable. IMHO the best acapella group. BTW, they all can beatbox (not to Adam's extent of course). They do so in an old, live video "Joy to the World Hosannah", "9-5 beatboxing breakdown" - but you have to watch at least 1/2 dozen videos before watching "Mayday" or "Mayday Live". Love from a Canadian subscriber.

BTW, 3 of them are song writers and there are lots of originals. They've toured 150-200 shows a year for over a decade & there are lots of live videos (see "Sea Shanty Medley Live").

Is this a reupload? Anyway, you should also check out pentatonix, they are also an amazing group where they make music and beat with their mouth and body. And have won 3 Grammy awards and nominations five time I believe. And voiceplay is also another group who are classic a-cappella group. So no beatboxing etc.
@nancyholter56466 ай бұрын
VP most certainly does have beatboxing.

Same lyrics as Johnny Cash's version and very close to the same tempo. Perhaps you should listen to his version again.

I feel like the only place acapella has a cringe reputation is in your head. What are you talking about? And you're speaking as if acapella is something new in the last few years. Acapella's been around since music began. I bet you're thinking about something like barbershop quartets which are also acapella and also do some amazing things vocally but without beatboxing.
