@PatriciaL: I have these conversations with the people who live in Egypt today on a regular basis. The real issue is that you are unfamiliar with the history of Kemet. I'll give you some homework ... research the Arab Invasion of Egypt beginning 639 AD. This will help explain the current ethnic markup of the modern country.

An Egyptologist named Kara Cooney has a video on race and ethnicity in ancient Egypt. She points out that the Arabs in 640 A.D mainly replaced the elites and not the bulk of the population. According to this Arabs never overtook the Egyptian population: "As the graph below shows, only 17 percent of Egyptians are Arabs, while 68 percent of the indigenous population is from North Africa, four percent are from Jewish ancestry, three percent are of East African origins, another three percent from Asia Minor and three percent are South European." Source: DNA analysis proves that Egyptians are not Arabs-Egypt Independent

Tfnut is *missing* for a VERY good reason: Because moisture & electricity do not play well together. We might think of Nut as a conduit, Shu as the flow of current and Geb as ground. Clearly we are reminded of lightning from this perspective, though the presence of moisture, i.e. rain is not always evident either way. But we MUST as our ancestors think muti-dimensionally about what we perceive. A *cup* is cylinder & circle even before it is a vessel or container.

I sorry I haven't spent much time responding to comments on our video. When people of African descent describe the Ancient Kemetic (Egyptian) people as their ancestors it is exactly the same as people of European descent referring to Greco-Latin (Greece and Rome) as the foundation of Western civilization. No one argues this (except Afrocentrists like myself who correctly point out the Ancient African influences).
@CrowdPleeza
@CrowdPleeza 2 жыл бұрын
Egypt isn't to Africa what Greece and Rome are to Europe. Direct Egyptian influences aren't found in sub-Saharan Africa. You don't find Egyptian writing or architecture in west,central and southern Africa. Even Robin Walker said in an interview with Asar Imhotep that he hasn't seen any evidence for an Egyptian west African connection.

It's true, Nubia and Kemet have fought wars (They are both long running nations). Competing each other for various reasons. The Nubians would take over Kemet and merge it into one empire in the 25th Dynasty. The Nubians took Kemet back from the Assyrians. Nubians restored many temples and other monuments in Kemet during this period. Why would they do that? because they saw the Egyptians as one of them. They were one and the same.

@KelferMookie: You are correct from a historical point of view, however overlook the question of ethnic migrations & assimilations over time. Unfortunately this is the error of even many anthropological scholars who never associate Ife' with Kmt as a remnant, syncretization or assimilation of older cultures & civilizations. In the same way even today the origins of Christianity & Judaism are being traced back to Africa, they too may eventually be assimilated by renewed forms of older systems.

And just to clarify the above point further - There is a difference b'tween Arabs with egyptian nationality and Egyptians with Egyptian ethnicity. They are two completely different things & for which reason we should be suspicious of ANYONE who says they are *egyptian* & correct/remind them that they are talking about nationality, NOT ethnicity in any sense of the word.

@Jaydaravenstar; Actually Kemenu is the nominal of Xmn = *eight*, as in an octave, i.e. "eighth". Perhaps you are confusing Khemenu with Kmt Nu-t, *Nu* = city, town, village, community, settlement, etc.

"Ki-en-gir This GN is always written syllabically. The etymology is unsure; this is discussed below. The word ended in a /r/, not reflected in the script. The Akkadian equivalent of Kiengir was SHUMERU. This Akkadian word may be a dialectical pronounciation of the word Kiengi(r). The English word "Sumer" is usually thought to derive from the Akkadian form.John L. Hayes, "A Manual Of Sumerian Grammar and Texts", Undena Publications, Malibu, 1990, p. 48. BTW - SHU+MERU are BOTH ancient Egyptian!

In May 2010, the project released a draft of their report on the sequenced Neanderthal Genome. Contradicting the results discovered while examining mitochondrial DNA, they demonstrated a range of genetic contribution to NON-AFRICAN modern humans ranging from 1% to 4%. From their Homo sapiens samples in Eurasia (French, Han Chinese & Papuan) the authors state that it is likely that interbreeding occurred in the Levant before Homo sapiens migrated into Europe. You can call them how you want to call them Africans/Asiatics etc. But the skin of these people were clearly black. (not tanned, but black). You can't deny that. Movies depict Ancient Egyptians as white Europeans, or Arab looking people. (like the boy-king Tut Ankh Amon reconstruction). But that's not how these people looked. Tomb of Seti I, says it all. Even the Greeks said the Ancient Egyptians had whooly hair, dark skin and thick lips etc etc.

Don't care if the book is ridiculed at. The facts stating in the book are very strong. If you watch this video (watch?v=mHAqFIU61JQ) it's pretty clear, things started at Nabta Playa. All skelletons found near Nabta Playa site were of Black African origin. If you look at the timeline more closely you'll see that Nabta Playa culture ends suddenly, and other civilisations are taking route. I really advise you to study Nabta Playa, you'll find some shocking things. I will check your links.

I understand what you are trying to say. But it does not make sense if the culture of Egypt started in the North of the country. If you check Egyptians legends for example, you'll see everything points from where the Nile valley begins (somewhere in Uganda area). There is enough evidence to support that. (I can post that if you want). But it's obvious, look at there art. They depict themselves as dark skinned people. The white pharaohs etc. came much much later via invasions.

@yogini34 You think King James wrote the KJV? He had scholars translate the Greek manuscripts to the Old English which in that day was modern English and approved the translation work when the book was finished. It was so that common English literates did not need to learn Greek or Latin to read the bible. The NIV version also goes back to the Greek manuscripts it doesn't just work from the KJV. I'm not trying to "sell" you on Christianity but please get yourself a grip on historical fact.

They were certainly NOT Europeans or Nords & it is more than evident that for the most part they did NOT have *white* pigment, blue eyes or blond hair. Of course there were instances of albinism 7 lighter ranges of pigment (brown,ochre etc.) as there is in Africa today; but other than that-to answer your question-as black as coal, no wonder why the very word KMT contains the heiroglyph for a lump of coal.

It is either easy to confuse the terms & what you cite is most likely a very bastardized form. Yet this doesn't make Xmn = Kmt, which is what we're talking about, & if we're talking about Kmt then the term is Kmt Nu-t, not Kemenu.

Scientist openly admit their studies are just theories and that they do not know for sure because they are discovering more and more things every day. Just short 50 years ago, everyone thought all human life began in Saudi Arabia, but now we understand that isn't true at all, we started in southern Africa and traveled up the Nile for the fertile lands in Ethiopia and Egypt, then went onward.

It's obvious you don't who the Nubians were. The Nubian Pharaohs are even mentioned a couple of times in the Bible. During the period of Phianki and Tiye of Nubia (Nubian/Kushite pharaohs) Egypt was already invaded and controlled by the armies of Assyria, these invaders destroyed much of Kemet culture. The Nubians declared a Holy War and were able to push the Assyrians back home. KZfaq restricts me from giving you more info, but you should read about the pharaoh Taharka and the Shabaka Stone.

Arabia doesn't have that many mountains to have caves to house all the people in the antiquity. People sheltered in tents while nomads and used houses when settled. Black Americans have nothing to do with Egypt. Their origin is in the Atlantic coastal regions of Africa. That's history not joke.

Egyptians do not trace there lineages to western Asia. those sites you recommend are right wing cites who believe in racial superiority. it was the people under Menes from upper egypt(south) that united Egypt and started the empire. they did have many lineages which does include western asia but the majority makeup was African.
