⁠@@kentbrockman2631, they don’t use shovels when they know they are close to a nugget as they are worth more to collectors than the actual gold value but only if they have no damage to them.

Misleading title. The "20.5 ounces worth 50 grand" was their total not the weight of that nugget. The nugget was 12 ounces.
