I owned this car for several years and every year I went with 6 people and luggage on holiday and drove than about 4.000 km without any problem! The only minus was that because of the big glass windows when the temperature rose above the 30 degrees Celcius the climate controle had difficulty keeping the tempurature inside low enough! I drove the car about 150.000 km without any problems ony regular check-ups nothing more! Even went often with family in laws for a small holiday ans them being elderly persons were very glad with the higher and vertical position of the seats so they could very easy go in and out of the car! I transported al kind of luguage in this car but also refrigerator, washing machine, table, bikes, etc.! Of course it is not the most beautiful car in the world, but it is extreme practical en fun to ride and low cost of maintenance!

for all those who laugh, do not underestimate the Multipla. I had 2, Methane and Diesel. Probably the best driving position ever made for any car, and definitely the the best driving ergonometry ever. Ive had six ops on my back (Rugby) and the only car at the time which I could drive in comfort was the Multipla.The methane version cost me €15 a fill for 450 KMS. The visibility was superb. It was a quantem leap forward in space. It was just so space age at the time. Ive had BMW, AUDI, MERCS, LANCIA, ROVER, etc. But a Multipla somehow stands out.

Alex Petrenko When I visited Serbia, Multipla was used especially as informal taxi from Belgrade airport to Novi Sad (and others town I suppose) because the car is useful to take and ger off passeggers trough the road.

I drove one of these for 10 years. Fantastic to drive - handled like a big Mini. You could really throw it down a country road, as a Golf GTi driver on the Isle of Wight could have testified a few years back.

It's very roomy and practical, what else can carry 6 adults in comfort and have room for things in the boot? Many compact 7 seaters are good for 5 adults but are not so good for 7 adults ie the third row often being cramped and only really fit and suitable for young kids.
