I can recommend any Vetrimaran movies without hesitation. He is such a gem of a director. According to me, his average film is Pollathavan(2007), which itself a cult.

The Beauty of Vetrimaaran is, he’s so dedicated to his craft that his instincts are stern. Even though his work process sounds bad, the way he’s solving those issues shows his understanding to the craft. His humility makes him speak of it as a mistake that should be avoided but really it’s a huge lesson to aspiring filmmakers, on how to overcome hard working conditions for a film. He’s a master who doesn’t want the credit for it ❤

South Indian filmmakers and artists should put more effort to improve their communication skills in English at least for marketing and taking their films to a bigger global audience. Even in this round table, you see that except perhaps Vetrimaran, all the other South filmmakers are struggling to articulate and express themselves clearly in English. A lot of these south Indian directors are amazing at what they do and they've proven themselves already, but when you see round table interviews like these, they always make the southern guests seem very demure and sidelined, while the bollywood guests always get focus just because they can express themselves much better.

Hemanth was the most articulate, well-spoken of the lot and he's a South Indian. It's not necessarily poor communication skills in English that puts South Indian filmmakers in the sidelines in interviews like these, it's also largely about how loud an individual's personality is. Some are quieter, calmer, and tend to observe more than partake every minute in the conversation. A.R Rahman used to be awfully silent in his interviews and his English is as good as it can get.

Yes, they don't care about telugu. These people are always biased. If ranveer would have done pushpa they could have said it is a blockbuster movie. They liked LEO. The graphics were very bad particularly the chase scene. But, these idiots loved it. Bahubali was way way better and the story was good they didn't like it.
