This is really disturbing because there are many homeless people living on the streets and parks in my city. I live in a state up north of Australia. The city I live in is a contradiction because there are wealthy retirees, rich idiots driving around in their expensive cars, and many tourists visiting from overseas. I am aware of many people living on the streets because I have been a volunteer at a drop-in centre and places where anyone can get a free meal.

Ok sir. Kelly sounded completely out of touch with reality, self entitled, and white frankly angry at the world. Becky strikes me as a con artist and quite frankly a sociopath. The one with the dog - she omitted a lot of her story and made herself seem like a victim (and she is far from it).

She had left her parents home. The advantage of such free publicity on the Internet or national TV is that, such people almost immediately find a home soon after the airing of such shows made available to the general public, KZfaq shows or TV. Such shows on particular individuals who are temporarily homeless usually benefit those individuals on the show(s) aired to the public. A generous individual helps that person(s) seen recently on TV or on Internet news or on KZfaq.

I feel Kelly would have been offered a place at the YMCA if she'd gone into shared accomodation.
@Lemonade-vy8ux
@Lemonade-vy8ux 3 ай бұрын
The issue I have with Kelly is she's quite picky. The YMCA were happy to have her but because ahe said she wouldn't share with more than one person they said no probably because they didn't have anywhere which only housed two people. The council were happy to put her in temporary accommodation which would have led to her own flat but she didn't want that either. She said she didn't know anyone in Kent hence why she didn't want to go there and all her family and support were in Hastings. The reality is if her family or support were so supportive she wouldn't be on the streets. Kent isn't dangerous for her so she should have gone. She's going to get to an age where support is no longer available.

The ending rant about her little art studio (“ where people can come and dress for free, eat for free, use the bathroom for free”) was so outlandish it made me chuckle. The other two weren’t wallflowers either, one is sociopathic and the other is self entitled. I don’t buy their sob stories - they fail to mention key elements to why they ended up on the streets to begin with. They want to be the victim in their little make believe world.

@@kerrypeters4724 It would be mutual consent so don't give me your woke cr@p. Maybe, just maybe, I could give her a good life. Shelter, warmth, food, security. All these things in exchange to keep me happy. Pretty good deal, and quite a common deal I might add between a man and a woman. Its called a heterosexual relationship in case you didn't know.

Yet another example of the Conservatives broken Britain. How I would love to see Cameron, Osborne and the likes of Liz Truss on the street. As if!

No sympathy. Get a job like a rest of us, when the woman with dreads said system failed her or she failed the system - we all know what’s going on there. Helps there if you need it, sick of people in the UK scrounging every penny of us lot that work and struggle to even pay our own electric
