I am kay naidoo i have been watching 7nde laan since i was in high school i didnt understand afrikaans so well then . But i use to fight with everyone at home when it was time for 7nde laan . They always told me to watch the repeat next day on sabc 3 . I was sent to work in bloemfontein and i learned the language and from then on 7nde laan was even more addictive to me . I am really sad that its ended. Thankyou for the tribute to 7nde laan. All the best to the cast may the lord open doors for all of you moving forward.❤❤❤

Ons sal vir altyd 7de laan onthou. Ek was 10 toe ek 7de laan begin kyk het. Ek het basies groot geword opgewonde voor die tv elke aand gesit en wag dat hy moet begin. Daar het soveel gebeur daarin wat alledaags regtig gebeur. Ons het lekker saam gelag,gehuil en oe die villins van die storie wou ek al persoonlik in die tv inklim en hulle goed vertel lol. The reason they kept the news until last two hours ,is because they didnt want the producers and people to put they heads together to come up with a plan to solve the issue..i thought i would get old with 7ndelaan and with new characters to slowly replace the exiting ones.

I never really watched it but it was always in the background for 23 years. I feel bad for all the actors and crew and I hope they can move on and achieve great things. Pretty low of sabc to only let them know on such absurd short notice.

I definitely love the newer seasons of 7de laan I know alot of people like the older seasons but if you watch it it's somewhat the same drama but they changed up the storyline. It's the same writers that is still writing the new episodes.

I watched 7de Laan since 2003 and stopped at around 2017-2018. It just became unbearable to watch. I started hating it and only watched out of habit. You could tell there were some serious issues going on behind the scenes. The soapie should've ended years ago, in my opinion. It just went on for way too long.

Wow... this was a show I watched in primary and to see how it has evolves shocking and not nice. The old 7 de laan was good, it should have stopped yers earlier before it became dilutes by culture.

No big deal, this show was poorly written and gets rid of its actors in a non professional way. Isidingo had better quality content. That being said theres never money for any quality shows that cater for the paying licence payers. We minorities arent represented in other local series and if any minority actors appears we are all stereo typed. Sick of the way sabc has gone. We used to have quality series from America, the UK, australia, germany, France and other parts of the world. World class shows. Now we've been reduced to real backward thinking and regressive poorly written local shows.
