I’ve got a celeron beelink. It runs pretty nice with Minecraft games. Especially modded which truly surprises me

I own a small server with Intel Celeron J1900 1,99GHz in it and it is running a bunch of stuff, including a modded minecraft server, which supports multiple players and it works very nice. Never had problems with it. Also no CPU related errors in the logs...

My Parents were convinced buying cheap tech products was the best thing to do, and they learned the hard way. The needed to replace tech products every few months. Although I (15) told them they didn’t listen. Now I’ve convinced them to buy better and more expensive products and yet here we ware not replacing them every few months 😅

eMMC storage is Flash storage. An Hard Drive is always an HDD aka the Spinning metal Drive. So you can't call an SSD or eMMC storage an Hard drive.

Honestly…most of my “setup” is 5 below products I have headphones with a microphone that doesn’t sound terrible and I got a keyboard (different than the one shown in the videos) and they both work well. I’ve had my keyboard for like 9 months now and it still works and looks great. So while I do believe that cheap stuff can absolutely suck sometimes they’re not half bad.

you can try using the Tiny11 OS to minimize the system's usage on storage. Tiny 11 is basically what it's named to be. A Windows 11 OS that uses way less resource by removing alot of features like camera, snipping tool, etc. Keep in mind that Tiny11 is an open source OS meaning anyone could have implemented any type of malware depending from where you download the OS.

I can understand yout bad flashbacks, but in must not be that all cellerons are bad. One good example is my server with a celeron J1900 1,99GHz. It runs like 20 services and a minecraft server, which also works without issue. I don't know exactly what kind of setup you had, but i assume that you were using some sort of Windows system, which heavily loaded the processor, unlike my server which is running Linux. So i think that these processors have their usage purposes, bun ton necessarily in gaming and with "heavy" operating systems.

The raspberry pi is not made for direct use but for small tasks like controlling something remotely: you click on a link on your smartphone that goes to your router and then it goes to the 🫐🥧 that executes it by sending the final signal to something like opening a door.

The only tech products I recommend from five below over expensive brands are small speakers for like ur bedroom and stuff and the wireless earbuds. These earbuds work the same if not better than airpods for 8 bucks.
