Wrong, adam. It adds "3 copies with +3+3", so even if the card showed 0/1, it's actually 3/4 when you draw it.

While that is a potential upside, it is still relaying on card draw while giving the opponent a 3/4 taunt. Point being that upside is useless unless you live to draw it and besides there are better things to draw.

Yeah with double spells combined with Tess hero power if you got animal companion or call of the wild and just spam it over and over again you quite easily win (you also want some hard removal for amalgations but getting two taunts each turn also works pretty well)

Every time I've watched Trump struggle in a game (AI or real opponent), it has always been to the same flaw. He values "value" over just killing someone to death. Sometimes you should just kill someone to death, and the Hagatha fight is one of those times. Play each hero on curve and the treasure will be too much for the old Hag to handle.

only because all the pve in recent years is literally designed to be so easy a complete beginner could beat it. trump plays the encounter as if it's meant to be a long drawn out fight the way you would expect a hard boss to be. basically the equivalent of buying 10 potions, only using 2, and accidentally dying.

I initially also played it out like Trump and thought "let's maximize the value before switching!". Then Amalgamate screwed me a few times. Then when I won, it was due to just making a few early swaps on curve (Toki into Tess) and riding the value of having 3 Passive treasures for so long. Double Spells + 1 mana hero power Tess + Blizzard/Animal Companion = Unlimited Stalling + Value!

I beat this in like 10 minutes, I rushed through all my hero changes for the treasures and got the double the 1st spell into call of the wild with 1 cost hero ability on tracker, I just filled my board every turn.

i was surprised when he kept hating on shaw's hero power in the beginning, but thinks that toki's hero power is strong...then i saw that he managed to make this fight look difficult...not surprised anymore. trump is just bad at evaluating aspects of the game now...he is so far behind other pros/streamers when it comes to game decision and knowledge now, he's just a meme tier hearthstone streamer at this point

I spent the whole game rooting for hagatha basically lmao, its no fun watching the ai get stomped. its one of the things that made me love heroic Naxx cause it was pure bullshit and the bosses felt like actual threats (also the card pool was way smaller but thats besides the point)

I just finished the Monster Hunt. For Hagatha I went to Toki, same as you, and then I generated as many hex spells as I could and hex'd all her big minions. Beat her in fatigue. It was just hex after hex after hex, until I finally had board control, and her hand emptied. She burned one weapon and I was able to play weapon removal instantly on the other one. I think that's important too.

Something for everyone to consider: - Content is not fun if it's not unique. What some people see as "bad play" is more or less "fun content". To make something "interesting" is to not make everything easy, and repetitive. Especially if players have already played it this way. Yes, such things could be adressed, but that isn't always the case with content creators. - For a content creator, playing as good as possible must be the outmost boring thing on earth. It will even be boring to watch, if it's the only type content available. - Trump does have content where he plays seriously. For example when he played to get 15 000 dollars in Kobolds vs Catacombs. This is a different type of content from a lot of other videos. The "Meme Value" is a consideration of "the fun in making, and watching a video"

For all those in the comments raging at Trump's plays...do you know what channel you're watching? Since when is Trump known for his skill at the game? His trademark is: 1) taking forever each turn, yet 2) still making decisions just as the rope is about to burn out, and then 3) fucking up majorly. You could add 4) taking two more turns than the average human to figure out he's been playing the deck/encounter wrong the whole time. Since this is single player, only 3) and 4) apply. Yes, he can take FOREVER to make his decisions and he will still get them wrong all the time.

It's just incredible lol I had SUCH a hard time trying to defeat Infinite Toki, it was just ridiculous. But Hagatha... I defeated her on the first try, full health. When you get to the point of playing Tess, it's such an absurd number of options you have. And of course, with 4 passive treasures, it's pretty hard to lose.

Other than the missed lethal that was just an oversight... I think rewinding at 37:50 was a huge mistake. He can clear the board and Hagatha is almost card dead... It was a clear winning game at this point. Rewinding a 'do nothing' scroll of wonders (well, almost nothing) could discard your hand or something like that. And as the game is already won unless a big RNG effect screws you, there was little to no benefit. Only gives that big RNG effect a chance to happen. At this point I'd even take any "slightly bad" outcomes for me and not rewind, rather than risking it all.

Everyone criticizing him for taking it safe haha. Better to beat it for sure first try, than to rush it and fail. Also, he got lucky. When hagatha played Glinda (all minions echo) she then spammed 8/8 arcane giants for 0 mana haha. Had to whip out some brutal blizzards and board clears for that.

To be fair, I got pretty lucky. I used that robot which gives each player a weapon, in order to destroy her lifesteal weapon. By sheer luck, the death-rattle of the weapon she got was "your hero power becomes deal 2 damage". Since I kept regenerating life with First Aid Kit, it made her Hero Power really useless (and I blocked infinite value generation). Eventually she ran out of gas, and boom

How i beat hagatha. She evovled 2 lich kings. Got major domo, transformed into rag i beat her. Bascially did73 points of damage in one turn. Didn't even use tinker, tho did use tess to get a few spells back then cannoneer to help clear the board of taunts.

(warning bad english) Did anyone win this boss with Toki and Crowley combo (no Tess involved) ? My board is full of buffed minions, her board is just some random 12/12 that i can Infinity Fireball. I have 5 missiles, 4 fireball, 1 execute and a poisioned weapon [after you attack, discover a spell and cast it] for >4 turn straight and skip (BM) to see if she have any answer left after corruption and two amalgamate being answered by polymorph and mana bind

This game is actually insanely easy. You pick spell damage +3 and hero power cost 1 less and use it twice. The result is you basically go dig for a board wipe every turn (In deck: warpath, blizzard, brawl...) Then you stall until hagatha fatigues to death.

I used Shaw: First Aid Kit, Toki: Double Time, Crowley: Tactical Reinforcements and Tess: Cult Of The Wolf, in that order. With Tess being last, Hagatha had already used her amalgamates, so I stockpiled and spammed Call Of The Wild (which triggered twice due to Double Time)... Worked well enough for me.

Trump is a lot better than me at hearthstone. However, watching him pick a 4 Mana make a 3/3 into a nigh infinite lifestealing 3 atk weapon repeatedly made me want to run my head through a wall.

You're giving him too much credit. Trump nowadays really just netdecks, changes 1-2 cards and proceeds to run said decks.

He actually might be playing it slightly more close to how they intended for a fun fight, otherwise she really is just play for Tess and ignore the rest of the hero’s.
