Wish I understood the process at these skating rinks. So many standing and watching the better skaters, do they have a certain amount of time and then the watchers can skate? I love these talented kids. They are so talented!

This part was a role/style call. It's not about watching better skaters, it's about reppin' where you're from or what style you skate. People came from all over the country [if you recognized the styles].

@@RollsRight8 this doesn’t look like a simple thing people do on the weekends. It looks like a way of life. Like surfers live to hit the surf. This also seems to be a dying art because all the skating rinks are closedown in my area. And when they were open people were simply rolling around the rink with no moves or style.

@@nichellerobinson5096, In England I went to a three organized skating events where people literally came from all over the world. Most were from the United States and UK but people came from Germany, France, Spain, etc.

Hello from France :) I just discovered this culture two months ago, amazing ! Is this really the kind of music that is played on those rinks ? I love it :) Although, trying to roller-skate for the first time in my garage, I badly broke my elbow :( Is it a common thing, or am I that bad ? Coz I almost never see people wearing protections on this channel.

@@vincentd.4217no one ever wears protection in the rinks, at least the ones i go to. And yes, these are some of the same songs you will hear in the rink. When you’re starting out it’s going to be hard and you will fall alot, you don’t suck
