The final week of Dublin Bus operations on the 102, 33A, 33B, & 17A

Four Dublin Bus routes on Dublin's Northside have now been taken over by GoAhead Ireland, the route were taken over on Sunday the 2nd of December 2018.
Here in this video we see Dublin Bus operating their final week on these routes, especially the 102 which is featured most in this video.
Buses featured, GT's, VG's, SG's, AX's, AV's & EV's.
Also in the video can be seen various GoAhead buses on driver training prior to the takeover of the routes.

Nice video. Route 102 is such a good route IMO. I will miss the AVs/AXs/EVs and VGs on it. It's sad to see Dublin Bus lose the route.

Great Video Ste sad to see them leave, I really liked the 17A and 102 with Dublin Bus. AV281 look well at 8:50. Nice video none than less!

Ah true there! Some Double Deckers Already on the 102 :). Maybe it will be a mix between Single and Double Deckers, Interesting that!

AX500 seen in the video is now 11704 this can be seen on routes 102T/102A/102P/220T/270T/236T/238 Monday-Friday. Aswell as AX497-11701 AX498-11702 AX499-11703 AX501 and AX502 (I forget these fleet numbers I must get them when I back on them). We have 9 in total.

Spent my youth on the 17a. Such a shitehouse of a bus route. The timings were wildy optimistic.

Yes it's a terrible shame and a great loss for Dublin bus in terms of profits. They made a lot of profit with the 102 and the 17A

We need Dublin bus back for the 102 route. Go aheads management is lacking and busses are constantly 5-10 minutes late + bus drivers aren’t pleasant.

Can’t see Go Ahead lasting much longer lost nearly all of their experienced Drivers money is terrible and human rights doesn’t exist with them Drivers were taken their breaks in hospitals and not been provided with anywhere to heat their food their school their running is what barley keeping them afloat but lack of experience proving costly with RTA’s on the road.
