Right on target!! It is such a great feeling to have moved out of the Matrix and into freedom. It it wasn't for LIFE Leadership and this message we would have been in bondage for many more years. Thanks Orrin.

Excellent! I know a few people who work at banks and don't even know about fractional reserve banking! Scary! I'm glad we can now offer the red pill to folks that want true freedom.

The Federal Reserve explains it this way: The fact that banks are required to keep on hand only a fraction of the funds deposited with them is a function of the banking business. Banks borrow funds from their depositors (those with savings) and in turn lend those funds to the banks’ borrowers (those in need of funds). Banks make money by charging borrowers more for a loan (a higher percentage interest rate) than is paid to depositors for use of their money. If banks did not lend out their available funds after meeting their reserve requirements, depositors might have to pay banks to provide safekeeping services for their money. For the economy and the banking system as a whole, the practice of keeping only a fraction of deposits on hand has an important cumulative effect. Referred to as the fractional reserve system, it permits the banking system to “create” money. How Fractional Reserve Banking Works When you put your money into a bank, the bank is required to keep a certain percentage, a fraction, of that money on reserve at the bank, but the bank can lend the rest out. For instance, if you deposit $100,000 at the bank and the bank has a reserve requirement of 10 percent, the bank must keep $10,000 of your money on reserve and can lend out the $90,000.

James Dell James, you are neglecting the multiplier effect of Fractional Reserve Banking (FRB). Thus, you $100,0000 example at 10% reserve requirement becomes 100,000/.1 or $1,000,000 created from the initial $100,000 after it cycles through banking system. Research it for yourself. For instance, Investopedia (among many others I could have chosen) explains it this way: DEFINITION of 'Multiplier Effect - The expansion of a country's money supply that results from banks being able to lend. The size of the multiplier effect depends on the percentage of deposits that banks are required to hold as reserves. In other words, it is money used to create more money and is calculated by dividing total bank deposits by the reserve requirement. INVESTOPEDIA EXPLAINS 'Multiplier Effect' - The multiplier effect depends on the set reserve requirement. So, to calculate the impact of the multiplier effect on the money supply, we start with the amount banks initially take in through deposits and divide this by the reserve ratio. If, for example, the reserve requirement is 20%, for every $100 a customer deposits into a bank, $20 must be kept in reserve. However, the remaining $80 can be loaned out to other bank customers. This $80 is then deposited by these customers into another bank, which in turn must also keep 20%, or $16, in reserve but can lend out the remaining $64. This cycle continues - as more people deposit money and more banks continue lending it - until finally the $100 initially deposited creates a total of $500 ($100 / 0.2) in deposits. This creation of deposits is the multiplier effect. The higher the reserve requirement, the tighter the money supply, which results in a lower multiplier effect for every dollar deposited. The lower the reserve requirement, the larger the money supply, which means more money is being created for every dollar deposited.

There's a lot more mortgage debt today, simply because people are choosing to live in bigger houses now than in the 1950s. Mortgage equity never disappeared; we've merely raised our standard of living.

Avoid consumer debt and learn financial literacy to be able to protect your family. And find different ways to protect your wealth then fiat currency. Gold is a great choice. Physical not gold shares. Also LIFE is working on a cryptocurrency project that is actually usable and mimics the characteristics of gold.

I support what you're trying to do, but I'm concerned about the legality of quoting The Matrix as a way of promoting the products for Life Fitness. I'm getting into selling this stuff and seriously want to know the legal side of using these Matrix Quotes.

Richard, books and movies are quoted in nearly every book you read. The key is to source it and, of course, not quote the whole copyrighted material. My books have been quoted in many other books and I look at it as free advertising since people then come back and buy my book to learn more, just as I know hundreds have watch The Matrix because I encouraged people to do so. thanks, Orrin

hum, well the Romans lost power because they used "Fiat currency" i.e. the Roman Coin was less & less real gold, Spanish fell apart when the "Real" was less & less "real silver, British Empire FELL when the British Pound was replaced with "fiat currency"... if the man spent less time sounding like a Preacher of Bible stuff & studied history his message would be more intelligent. USA the "Reserve Currency of the world" has been a "Fiat currency" Petro dollar since 1971. That is why USA is an Empire chasing WAR on every continent right now. The failing of an Empire is about 5000 years of history for anyone wanting to study it... "FAKE money-Fiat currency" is ALWAYS THE BASE OF IT! It is coming apart globally because everyone is doing the "printing press Loan system" China, USA, Russia, Europe, Africa, Latin Countries, India...

Peter, in my book and blog I have historical examples of all of what you say. I liked your history and so posted the comment, but not sure why you felt the need to talk about me in the third person since this is my youtube account. It would be like me saying, "If the man would have read my blog, he wouldn't have commented so rudely, but rather, would have agreed we are on the same page." :) In any event, I'm impressed by your level of understanding of fiat and Fractional-Reserve Banking. thanks, Orrin

I got the impression from "Your Comment in the video" that this is the 1st time of a fiat currency empire decline... instead of like the 30th "BIG" time in recent 6 THOUSAND years of empire rule. as a investigative journalist myself, I do my own work. I WAS TALKING OF THIS STUFF in the 1970s & am a "Whistle Blower in the USA". I point out corruption & try to fix things even. So when I listened to your video saying 3 "ages" of man (3:35minutes in) it just sounded like a preacher on a church pulpit & not someone relaying historical data. AND at some point there you spoke of FIAT CURRENCY issues for the 1st time in history causing a USA & global down fall. so I spoke out, Slaves will revolt when there is no longer food in their bellies. Churches, governments, corporations all go broke & history is full of "fiat currency countries going under"... from drilling holes in Roman coins to remove gold and fill with what ever, to cheater wine bottles, to digital presses, to crypto-currency... "bread & circuses" was big for Rome too, keep the people looking at that other entertainment screen not the facts. I have run businesses among humans for 55 years. Standard behavior for me to see. The collapse coming is quite a bit worse than anyone cares to think about. Money is an illusion of humans, the only value is what "WE SEE IT HAVING!" Have a good day.

by the way, yes I do get dozens of salespeople selling me the "New Fangled System" that of course is just a new word for that same sales pitch used as I as a little kid running my first business in 1962 that became a USA Fad for some 10yrs. we all got something to sell. Did not expect to hear from you, so thanks for the moment of your time.
