Superb bespoke highly creative twisted brickwork Rob!!! I love it. Wonderful to watch and be inspired by, particularly the evolution of the design as you work given the differing brick dimensions and symmetry constraints. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and passion for all things brick ‘n’ masonry!!

Looks pukka that mate, we always called that jointing V joint but names change regionally. For short runs like that I use the little Dutch blocks with elastic line its perfect, also we were always taught on oversail courses that the line goes on the bottom arris as that's the eye line not the top.

Rob. I have a question. Can I run a twin chimney into 1. Run 2 stoves that are located in different rooms that are back to back. I am asking this as a house that i live at has suffered major damage to the roof many years ago. They since repaired the roof by cost in excess of 50K. I dont want to run that same cost again just to repair the twin stack. I would rather unit them into 1. I fear I would require a cowl.

hi Jason, you could speak to your local Building Control but I'm still certain they tell you that each fireplace must have its own separate flue based on a few factors, such as room size in relation to flue size, ventilation, risk of fire spread etc... speak to them first.

Are the building products good in the UK ? Because here in the US they seem to have taken a dive. The quality has really gone down hill.

I have 2 classes running at the moment, there's now one space on the evening and 3 spaces on a Saturday, but I use the Saturdays for bricklayers who want to come and do twisted piers, arches and curved word, so they come and go
