It’s even more haunting to think that while she’s saying that and looking into the abyss, it was similar to when she was at the planetarium. She held on for 17 minutes for someone to help her...but when help didn’t arrive in time, she stopped dancing. And the curtains dropped.

What impactful about the second last episode is that all the characters enter the void the way they died. Corduroy accidentally fell in, secretariat changed his mind but it was too late, Sarah Lynn jumped in willingly like she did with her addictions, herb was at peace, and bojack’s mom was unaware it seemed.

@@shaggyg7354 I'd say it's a sign that they could maybe have a real friendship again. Same with Dianne. It seems to me kinda hopeful. Like things were bad between them, and Bojack had been in jail for a while, but it seemed to me like there was hope for some kind of relationship, even if it was different than it was before.
@kanekochou
@kanekochou 2 жыл бұрын
@@0Enigmatic0 when Bojack and Diane are talking on the roof, Bojack mentions how it would be funny if this was the last time they ever talked. And Diane gives an uncomfortable nonresponse and avoids eye contact, implying she knows it *will* be the last time. In an earlier scene, Todd and Princess Caroline both skip watching the second Bojack interview - because they are both done being involved in his life. That Todd is able to be friendly again with Bojack isn't meant to be a sign that they can have a friendship again, but that Todd has removed his emotional energy from the relationship. He can be nice and let go of any lingering resentment he still has, because he no longer expects anything going forward with Bojack. Todd's moved on. In the end Bojack does still have one friend though - Mr. Peanutbutter. 🐶🤷‍♀️

Consequences are important in this show. And the fact that Time consequently affects these characters makes the impact of their lives that much more interesting and profound. Seeing Characters grow and change both physically and mentally, how their journey in this world has impacted them and shaped them into the character they ultimately are. And a little scary too, considering time affects us too, that even a world with anthropomorphised animals and puns can also be affected by the negative effects of time.

If it makes you feel better: That statement is just a claim neither provable nor falsifiable. I don't think one needs to be a religious nut or reality-denying to believe in an afterlife or my personal belief, reincarnation. The fact that dreams and the mechanisms of conscience seem not to be explainable by random neuron-firing, psychedelic and spiritual experiences even by scientifically minded people show that there is yet room for aspects of reality outside our current scientific lense. I don't find the concept of continued consciousness after death in a different state silly at all.

The United States harasses victims of deviant sadistic maltreatment by military Child SA’ers who are misusing advanced technology they have access to. They are using technology that is meant to keep Americans safe to secretly watch children, show them deviant content through hacking their devices, and touch them inappropriately or give them incapacitating substances. Victims of this crime are R’d, and tortured and then as they get older are then stalked and harassed both on and offline by creeps that are helping their friends get away with their crimes. They sabotage the lives of their victims to make them as hellish as possible. This goes on for years, and it seems to last their entire lives. Some victims may not even know they’re victims because much of the R happens when they are slipped something or asleep. The only reason you may know is because they may leave behind physical evidence like bodily fluids, bruises, or scratches. The men who do this think that they can shame their victims into silence because some of the actions are coerced. They think that the more depraved they can be with innocent children the more likely they will be too ashamed to speak out. At least some men with access to this technology are using to hurt and R children. The victims are left with little recourse because they likely won’t know who R’d them. They try to invade every part of their victims' lives to try to shame and mock them into silence.

hollyhock (7:16) its interesting how hollyhocks last line is her voicemail, its realistic. with tv shows often by the end they have closure on every character. every character has a good ending and is on good terms with everyone else. so us as an audience are happy and satisfied with the ending. even though its a small detail that hollyhock and bojack didn't end on good terms i think its one of the things about this show i love. its realistic. this show is a work of fucking art.

Super late to the party here but, technically, Butterscotch's last line was the view from halfway down. Coincidentally it is also Secretariat's last line, but that's tough because he was portraying both characters in that episode.

Every other performance on the stage reflected the life of that person. What was Secretariat’s last performance? A written work he struggled to finish. What was it about? Someone making a destructive decision they come to regret, but can’t change. And how did Secretariat go out? By falling over…by mistake. This is just as much a story about Butterscotch as it is Secretariat.
