Don't worry about the 'not relevant'ers Dan. Some people have an inflated sense of how important their views are to you. The fact that they feel the need to tell you they won't be watching staggers me. I watch most of your videos and I've never spent a single night in a caravan! Have a great Christmas x

Dan there will always be the 'keyboard warriors', those individuals who are very narrow minded and judgemental. You're videos brought us into caravans (my wife will always be in your debt 😊). Have a great 2024 with many new adventures.

Dan, I've been quietly watching your content for many years, we've been caravanning for 15 years +. I find yours and many other creators content very informative, interesting, and entertaining. We all adapt and change the way we do things. We've only used CL's for years and now we're looking at larger sites because our kids are older and want more to do. We all have different needs. Best wishes for 2024, I'll still be tuning in and watching your content as we can all learn something new.

A massive, massive thank you Dan for everything you do for the caravan community. It is us as viewers to make relevant choices in life as to what is relevant and not to burden hard working KZfaqrs such as yourselves with our likes and dislikes. Keep up the excellent work but make sure that you both enjoy the new van without making sacrifices for the sake of the minority who will never be pleased. Have a fabulous Christmas and sending you all our love and best wishes from our van in a CL site near Holt in Norfolk for the Christmas holiday. Best wishes David & Rachel x ❤

Hi Dan, I have stumbled on your site today the 26th of May 2024. I am a virgin newbie, I don't even have the motorhome yet but hoping to get mobile in the next couple of weeks. You are a caravan guy, I know, but all your tips and tricks and advice is equally valid to motorhome owners and so far, after only 5 videos, I have learnt a lot and can say you are definitely relevant, please believe me. I have subscribed and will continue to watch your videos because your experience is invaluable and your way of conveying that experience is very, very good. You are a likeable chap and I hope one day in the future I will find you on a site and we could have a couple of beers together. All the best to you and your family.

Dan, as someone who has had a caravan since passing my driving test on my 17th birthday some 51.5yrs ago who also likes adding updates to our caravan, it took me 49yrs to get my first brand new caravan but still had to put my own stamp on it just like yourself. Being a Yorkshireman with deep pockets and very short arms I’ve found many of your videos of great benefit ie the awning lights to name one and seeing your videos gave me the incentive to get myself in gear and get it done. I’ve also had major surgery after almost losing all use in my arms and legs while on holiday at the end of September resulting in my having cervical neck surgery fusing c3 & c4 vertebrae in early October which has given me back about 90% use of my arms and legs and for that I’m so grateful. You mentioned the Brecon Beacons an area I have great affection for having done much of my training for the Parachute Regt and the dreaded 10miler although I actually enjoyed the challenge, sadly I only have the memories of when I was fit enough to complete my Pegasus Company training but I’m very much alive and looking forward to our travels in 2024. So it’s a massive thank you from myself Jim and Cheryl and hope you also enjoy your new caravan as we are and plan to continue for as long as I can.😊

Hi Dan. I’ve been watching your videos since getting back into caravan in after selling the last one over 26 years ago, and buying a new 2022 Bailey Unicorn Cadiz in September 2022. Things have changed since last time we had a caravan, but had and still have a VW T5 camper we have been using since 2015 for our camping trips which was fine for the two of us and one dog, but then we inherited two small dogs, after our auntie died so now have three dogs and there was no room in the camper and awning for the five of us to chill and enjoy properly. Keep up your good work, and I’m looking forward to your future videos. We love our Bailey caravan it’s style inside and the layout which works very well for us, but we are still having issues with thing since the purchase to get solved and that’s now 15 months on 🙁

hi Dan, was good to see you at the show in october. crazy to think 5 years ago i watched your how to site a caravan before buying, to meeting you at the 2018 show then joining you for the 2019 tourerfest. no video is irrelevant. even today nearly 6 years on, if i see a sited video, levelling video, absolutly any caravan video wether i have done it or not, i still watch and i still learn new things. in fact i look out for videos of what ive already done more than anything to find better ways of doing it especially the basics, because it is easy to lose sight of the basics. ps i love your trip videos. all the best for the new year and look forward to 2024 with you and the family . steve

Hey Dan, how are you? Thanks for sharing. Ever since I can remember I have been obsessed with caravans, off grid living etc...And, ever since I can remember, your channel has always been an incredibly useful resource for me. Not only that though, you've motivated my caravan journey so much and without your channel, and a couple of others, I would have felt lost. That's mainly due to the fact that I am the only person in my friendship group that is into caravans as everyone thinks they're only for old people - well me and you know that that's not true! You're being relevant isn't important to me. You're you and I love your channel! LOVE THE NEW VAN! WOW! Keep posting and take care matey! Robbie x

Hello Dan, I write from Santiago de Chile. I just want to thank you for your enormous contributions, from which I have learned a lot and which served as a basis for buying my caravan. Rather, I imported it from Hamburg to Chile (a Hobby De Luxe Easy 400 SF), which we are enjoying with my wife touring Chile, Argentina and Brazil. But the knowledge base to select it, implement it and make various repairs and adjustments was your videos. So don't worry about the irrelevant ones, but about those of us who can thank you for your interesting and entertaining videos. In Chile, when we encounter unfriendly people, who criticize everything or are simply offensive, we remember the phrase of the great Miguel de Cervantes in Don Quixote of La Mancha: "let the dogs bark, Sancho, it is a sign that we are moving forward." . So go ahead Dan, you have more friends than irrelevant ones in the caravanner network. Greetings and success in your projects 2024.

‘Not relevant’? My wife and I love your videos. We love seeing where you visit, the tips/projects and the general caravan setup. You have been brilliant for us since we bought our first caravan in 2019. By the way, towing a twin axle caravan with your Touareg should be a breeze. We have just bought one and regularly tow 3.5 tons (not a caravan!) with ease. The problem is remembering we are towing!! Please keep doing what you do - we cannot wait for the next instalment. All the best for the new year. Margaret and Steve

Good morning Dan and a very merry Christmas to you and your family. I just wanted to comment on a section of your video referring to "not relevant" We have been caravaners for 5 years now, so I like to think that I'm out of the rookie period but it was your videos that I watched, whilst setting up on our first ever stay, at Piccadilly farm in Lacock, without which I would probably would still be there today. I still use your channel as my go to reference point whenever I have an issue or just need good advice, which I'm sure many do, so that makes you very relevant. We started our caravan journey after the kids left home, so have never really viewed your Chanel as being designed for specific groups, it covers so many topics, relevant to so many people. I'm now waiting for your assessment of a twin axle caravan as it's something we would consider, so "not relevant" because we have a single axle or no kids, or any other reason come to that, humbug!! Phill.

Hi Dan, great to see you back again. I also had so many problems with our brand new Alicanto Grande Porto. At nearly £40,000 Bailey should hand there heads. The dealer was brilliant, and after a year all the faults were fixed. I’m really looking forward to your take on the onboard water tanks. We Bailey owners all know the problem. My old Luner had a water gauge, Bailey you just have to guess or go and check the aqua roll, and hope it doesn’t freeze up in the winter.

Hi Dan, we have watched you from the start, we have been caravanning 35 plus years and you have taught us many things so whenever I come across someone starting out I always tell them to watch your channel and go right back and look for videos that will show them what they need to know as there will always be one covering any issues they come across. I’m not sure if you remember but in 2019 we bought a new Swift Sprite ( after owning a Coachman VIP ) we liked it as it seemed bright and airy but then in 2019/2020 you looked at one and announced the interior was ‘gopping’😂😂😂 I got my knickers in a twist and sent you a message saying we actually loved ours …. Then after a few months we completely changed the interior, new seating, curtains etc to taupes much more easy on the eye. Now gopping is our go to word for anything that looks 🤮 and we often laugh about it . We now have a Buccaneer which we love. Your new Bailey is without doubt one of the most stunning new caravans we have seen and absolutely love the cushions and all the lovely bits and bobs. It’s pure class yet looks so easy to live in and I’ve got serious kitchen envy . Looking forward to 2024 and any videos you post it’s always a highlight when we sit down at night and there’s a new one. We hope you and Angela have a wonderful Christmas and a fab 2024 away in your new caravan . Your content would still appeal to us if you were in a 2 man tent 😂 We live in Lincolnshire and mostly caravan in Norfolk/ Yorkshire and the midlands so I doubt we will ever be on the same site but if we are we will def say Hi , Vicki & Gary x

Hi Dan, can't wait to hopefully see how you have got on with the 8ft wide caravan towing to sites. We took our caravan to Truma to have Automatic Climate Control added and the fitter said he needed to remove the unit. He recommended having a frame fitted before the unit was replaced, as this would aid any maintenance on the unit in the future. I think it cost about an extra £85? He also said when the unit was installed at the factory they had trapped a wire and the lights on the aircon unit didn't work. Keep up the great videos and looking forward to seeing some of your adventures.

Thanks for your video. Great as always. As a person who has English heritage I enjoy watching your journeys and the places you go. Our small channel has it's challenges with navigating the algorithm. Hopefully things will take off once we start doing our lap of Australia. All the best over the Christmas season stay safe. Look forward to seeing you in the new year.

I have followed you for some years. I do believe that you exemplify the best of YT. Your story has been nothing other than inspiring for those who love your channel. Whether we caravan, or not, your family's story has been inspiring. Happy Christmas from me and mine to you and yours. You are a great example of the best of YT.

Wishing you and you family a happy Christmas and a superb touring new year. With reference to your previous vlog, travelling with an 8ft twin axle, we have clocked up over 3,000 miles in the last two years in ours and wouldn't swap back to anything smaller now. Looking forward to seeing your new content, in 2024😊

A great channel Dan, always look forward and have learned so much from you. Thanks for the tip about the Vision Plus led TV amp - didn't known this existed. One of the best presenters on KZfaq. Have a great 2024, keep well and all best. Barry.

Merry Christmas Dan - love your new van and handy tips in your videos - we have had an 8ft twin axle van for the last year and we love it with the extra space and there are only the 2 of us with 2 small dogs and manage without an awning mostly 👍🌲🎅

Hi Dan, I was already a subsciber to Mac & Sarah, so you are indeed in for a treat at Concierge Camping. It's good to kow that you are well and now back into the swing of cravanning. I first found your channel as a New Caravanner after so long without a 'van. I'm hoping to do more this year and put in onto KZfaq, but will still follow you (of course) as you inspired me to do things to and improve my new 'van. Happy christmas to You and your family and a very happy New year.

I agree, don’t get the relevance thing, it’s just a bonus if someone had exactly the same van as yours. After I met you at the NEC we purchased the Swift Challenger Exclusive but obviously that still doesn’t make your vlogs “not relevant “. Good news about the ‘lump’ as well. Merry Christmas and happy new year 🎉🎉🎉

Hi Dan, always relevant for me and always will be, love all the content and I look forward to seeing what 2024 brings. We have taken the plunge and booked 1 month in Spain next summer, I’m a teacher so we are finally making the most of the summer holiday! (Aircon unit has been purchased!) keep up the great work Dan and happy new year 🎉

Hi Dan, I’m glad you mentioned fitting the ACU in the Omnivent area. I bought a 2023 Lisbon and was thinking about one of the Truma units in this area. I would think the dimensions would be pretty similar for Evora, Porto and Lisbon as same lounge/kitchen setup.

1 You must fit your Tyre Pal on tyres you said you had an iNet pity I’ve got one to get rid of as can’t be fitted to my 2015 Coachman. I wish you well with the new van but if you want cheap times away join the Bailey Owners Club you have great fun. Merry Christmas Dan and family look forward to seeing you next year.

Just watching and puzzled by the “not relevant “, I’ve not even got a caravan yet but aspire to . We do however camp and ive found the knowledge gained over the years of watching very helpful , so thank you and congratulations on the new van .

We really enjoy your videos, honestly do. Personally I believe you are relevant to all who own a touring caravan, you and your lovely family have helped us no end since owning our first little 2 berth Swift, now upgraded to a Bailey Unicorn S5 Vigo. With the help of you guys we feel confident enough to go it alone😂. Still need you though Dan, thank you for making our journey so far more pleasurable ❤

Merry Christmas and thanks for the update. Relatable, well everytime a friend comes across to caravans I always direct them to you. Your earlier videos are fantastic to get you started. We started off with a Lunar clubman SE. Around the same time as you got your last van we got a new Avante 840 and then when it was stolen we got a Swift Challenger 670 SE im July 2023. Everytime you do an upgrade I consider it. Love the back to basic idea, I've been struggling / finding a good way of leveling a twin and doing the alko wheel locks. I think I have it sorted but it involves jacking the caravan and spinning the wheels using the alko chasis jacking points. Anyway, I hope you have a fantastic Christmas and New year! forward to seeing your videos, oh and the other Electronic chanel too, being an Avionics Instructor in the RAF, I enjoy those too. All the very best!

I would say you are relevant to us, we may have a motorhome it’s a caravan with a connected tow vehicle. The caravan and motorhome bits are shared cleaning roof windows Is a good example. We have been able to do lots of little jobs that without your input we would have been stumped. Merry Xmas and a prosperous NewYear
How we sold the caravan without advertising it!
