Wow! What a beautiful open reel tape deck. You're lucky to have one. It's been on my wants list since it first came out and unfortunately will remain that way.

Really fine art of analogue recording from Duesseldorf. I only have simple machines: Tesla, Telefunken,ReVox. The Ballfinger was presented in german HiFi magazines a few years ago. I like tape recording forever,do it since 1973!

Well? After being associated with the 3 Top American Recorder Manufacturers. And having my experiences with, Studer, REVOX, Atari, TEAC, TASCAM, Sony, Panasonic, AKAI. This looks like a lovely machine! Created just in time. For the fall. Not the season. But for the collapse. Of Analog Recording. And in such a damn shame. This looks like a wonderfully thought out machine. I would be proud to own. Maybe? Back in the day. When Analog Recorders, Meant Something. Now they are but a piece of History. But a Memory. I'm now selling off the last of my Analog Recorder Collection. That includes, Scully, Lesher, Sony, TEAC, TASCAM. And have I forgotten anyone? Oh yeah a couple of, UHER Report 5000's? 8000? I forget? They were a Low Cost Negra. These are 1/2 track mono. 5 inch reel, capacity. AC and battery-powered. Low noise. Quiet running. And you could get 15-30 minutes of recording time. Running at 7.5 or 3.75 in./s. And even slower at lower quality. At really low, quality. It would go even slower. As I think it also did 1.78 and maybe even 15/16 th, inches, per second. When you needed logging capabilities. Without any trees to cut. Just a bunch of dead dinosaurs to turn into plastic. Recording tape. Yes I remember the good old days. Of the mid and late 20th, century. It seems like only yesterday. RemyRAD

Sir, try the United Home Audio reel to reel deck, custom-made in the USA, sounds better than this one. Or get an old Otari MX-55N (made in Japan) for 1/10 of the cost of the Ballfinger for the same sound quality.

I did have many chances to listen to to UHA Ultimate 4 & the Super Deck. They are really among the best! But I prefer the concept and the performance of Ballfinger tape decks. Thanks J N!

@@ultrahiendvietnam The Ballfinger is MUCH cheaper than the latest UHA and sounds very good (but definitely not as good as the UHA, in my view). For those/customers that do not want to spend much money, I recommend the (refurbished) OTARI MX-55 or MX-50. They sound about as good as the Ballinger but cost only 20-30% of the Ballinger on Ebay. I have auditioned all of the above machines and own an Ampex, Otari, Akai, Tascam and Sony R2R decks.

@@jn3750 Thanks ! Based on what I have studied all about the philosophy, technologies of Ballfinger and the most important thing is that 100% of all the machines are completely built from scratch to meet extremely high standards. Ballfinger tape machines are worth every penny. Enjoy listening J N!

hi it's very good looking deck one bad thing it to long standing i have alot of reel to reel i hope it last longer than the tascam 30 that all ways coming apart i am lucky i got reel to reel on the us market place only because i can fix them this is a tank like otari mtr 12 i have this would be better if you could swap over rollers to tape size like the mtr otari decks deck that have alot of hr on them i fill better having it

Золотая цена максимум 800 бакинских , всё потолок . Но то что просят сегодня ? Это какая то дикость . Там нет ничего сверх на эти бабки . Уж лучше тогда взять 55 Атари и кайфовать .

Mechanic looks 99% of a A 700 copy, similar to the OLIMP MPK 005C. It seems to be that the whole World is copying the mighty Swiss Studer Tape Machines.

Стас,а чему завидовать?что людей разводят на игрушку в 2 с лишнем миллиона! и это не топ модель,цена доходит до 4-х! Что может там такое стоять,что бы стоить таких денег?современные технологии производства продвинулись далеко вперёд.Современные станки способны обрабатывать металл с ювелирной точностью.Разработка и изготовление электронных компонентов сейчас вообще не проблема.Понятно,что изделие разработанное с нуля требует больших затрат.Но по мне люди изобрели велосипед и хотят за него, как за дорогой автомобиль...А про березы,наши смогли прыгнуть, разработав хоть и не без ревокса, полностью на нашей электронной элементной базе магнитофон, который и до сих пор пользуется спросом, как бытовой, полупрофессиональный катушечник. "электроника-004"доведенный мастером до ума,способный удивить и владельцев и более дорогих аппаратов,а цена его не 30.000$а всего 30.000 российских рублей!

Полный шлак, дешёвая поделка не выдерживающая никакой критики, моторы - насмешка, китайские дешёвые двигатели от игрушечных машинок, -это дорогая и некачественная игрушка, смотрите обзоры на ютюб там где разбирают этот магнитофон

Абсолютно согласен! Среди приобретателей уже есть разочарованные, которым не стыдно в этом признаться! Один уже выставил на продажу. Игрушка стоимостью космического аппарата и звуком дешевеньких Акаи. Моторы ещё пол беды, а звук из микрух!

An Otari MX5050 b2iii pounds this overpriced deck into the ground. Had them side by side, not even close. The 12k ones dont even record. Get a used Otari and send it to Soran in Indiana. Youre welcome
