I am just here to say I appreciate your use of the older (original) term "suffice to say," which I also prefer, even though "suffice it to say" is the more common modern usage. This sparked an entire debate in one of my Toastmasters meetings. Both correct just one being older and less commonly used. I think this is a sign we need to make, "suffice to say" merch!

Morfeus i would say that you can interpret it in a depressing way & i would definitely give a content warning for suicidal ideation throughout... but that being said the reason why i like it so much is bc it’s an AMAZING fast paced creepy thriller with elements of something that is so much more than that. so you can take it as solely a fun chilling ride or you can go really deep into the commentary on and metaphors for mental health/ illness

The murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie is a really good book cuz it has an amazing, jaw-dropping twist. I enjoyed it a lot and I hope you will, too. Btw, you should read all other books by her, especially The Sad Cypress and The ABC murders (which are my faves).

Oh man, I can't believe you haven't heard of Ursula K. Le Guin! But, then again, maybe that's just among people who are into sci-fi as "their" genre, although she was a pretty big name in fantasy too I'm not sure *how* big for that vs. sci-fi in terms of name recognition in more recent years. She's super famous, and passed away fairly recently. From what I understand she had a really interesting life, especially growing up.

Hello honorary grandson, I Enjoyed your videos so much. I to have a complicated relationship with Ruth Ware. I’m now reading the turn of the key and my heart sank a little bit when you said you didn’t like it. I’m about 50 pages in and it’s just OK.I haven’t read Mrs. West away but I didn’t like any of her other books so I’m hoping that her new one one by one isn’t just a rip off of Agatha Christie. I also read in the dream house and I loved it. Carmen Maria Machado it’s a bit of a genius and very brave plus she writes Memoir which is my jam meaning I also write it. My reading tastes tends to go to thrillers but I also love Jacqueline Woodson. I don’t know if I read that particular book you were talking about but her process so perfect I can’t resist anything she writes.Poets are sometimes the best writers because they write succinctly. There are also a few other books that I liked in your haul.. By the way I started a fuck tube channel on my 70th birthday if you want to check it out. I’m so happy for you and your book club with Cindy and Noelle. I also subscribe to Kayla so I’m in with one by one. I live in Hawaii and we only have Two used bookstores on my Islands and they’re both far away. PS I’m also reading women in the window so far not a fan. This woman has got to stop drinking. Sorry for the long Comment. More thrillers please. Aloha

I just added Bunny by Mona Awad & Sin Eater by Megan Campisi in my Goodreads to-read list. 🐰📝 Who knows I might enjoy them, including The Inheritance Games. 📗

I *LOVED* Meddling Kids. Whether you like it or hate it, I hope you do a review on it because I want to know what you think. I don't think I've noticed anyone else talking about it on any of the Booktube channels I follow.
