Thank you for the video. After watching you guide, i worked on improving survivability and dmg by upgrading mods, then i tried it solo just to get some training done before jumping into co op. It turns out i managed to finish it solo on that first try and it was actually easier than i expected. I used basic Viesa (no upgrades on her) with just fire res, def and Hp mods and it worked fine.

@excalitto No worries. Happy to help the community learn 😁👍. Solo bosses are always a lot easier because their hp is scaled down by a HUGE margin unfortunately, this is usually the difference. A solo boss is roughly 1/5 the strength of a full boss.

I know some are gonna hate what I'm about to say, but I really like in this game how much you need to make the right builds to get past certain milestones. Some people sound like they just want to breeze through the main things, but then get frustrated when they can't use their generic builds on everything. Game could use some tuning, sure, but it's the right call to make the player evaluate their builds and strategies to beat what the game throws at you.

@@RealAsianRobot Just took some elements from what you gave in the guide (Freyna, an appropriate reactor, some fire resist and some chill attack on weapons) and tried it solo. Third time was a charm, even without the HP mod you suggested and only having about half of the build on my own. Thanks for the tips!

I guess I gotta take the advice to do it with Freyna... Been trying with Bunny but I'm not in a constant loop of trying to upgrade things further, running out of gold and then running out of mod slots etc. The fight itself either goes to me dying when I try to DPS fast enough OR me playing safer and not having enough time to kill him right now. That Freyna Ult damage does look very handy. Luckily I got her already, but she's only at level 20 so gotta start leveling I guess.

The hp collect mission is a great leveling farm also so just run some diffren characters while your farming it

Awesome video! I heard that theres a trick you can do with handgun's to give freyna's 4 more bullets in the mag. Also i haven't tried this yet, but i heard that if youre falling from a high distance, if your shoot while falling, youll cancel the super hero pose at the end. Cant wait to try it.

You can cancel the super hero pose by shooting yes. But I don't believe that it works here. Either way, rolling is fast enough to get you out of trouble haha. As for Freyna's gun getting more ammo, if there is a trick with a handgun to get 4 more bullets. That would be a bug/exploit and should be reported so it can be patched

@RealAsianRobot it's not a bug, Unique Weapons such as Freyna's or Gley's can inherit stats from whatever weapon you're weilding when you trigger them. So if you have a gun equipped that has extended magazine mods on it it'll give you more rounds, I've seen folks get up to like 75. There's diminishing returns of course since her gun is also on a timer so you can give it so many rounds you can't fire them all, but duration mods on Freyna will also help with that. But it also works for things like crit and weak point damage, so on these characters it's common to have like a "stat-stick" weapon to swap to when using their Ult. The one-shot Gley build uses the same concept.

@splodiedude2391 I am aware about it for Gley, but it should not (key word: SHOULD) not occur for Freyna's weapon. However, I will definitely reconsider and perhaps do some testing as soon as I reasonably can.

You can use a charged melee in mid air to do a stomp straight down with a bit of aoe but also gets you to the ground quicker and allows you to roll out quickly

I dont know how commonly known this is but if you hit your charged melee mid air it does a downward stomp. It should help you get to the ground quicker and doesnt lock you into the landing animation.

Solid advice as always my dude! I have a quick question that has nothing to do with this boss though haha. How are you getting three damage numbers per shot? Seems like both chill and electric and a third one. I just thought they didn’t stack.

Your gun can roll a random element. Mine just happened to have an element at the time. It's usually not so useful for the boss fight 😭😭. Anyway ask questions whenever, I'm here to answer them

I am at this point in the game and i am trying to reach your stats - how is it possible, that you have almost 25k defende while im at 7,2k? We're same level, my moduels are same level (or max 1-2 levels behind) yet the difference in DEF stat is 20 thousand? what is causing this? thanks!

External COmponents. All of my defense comes from External Components which are then enhanced by my modules. Farm Devourer for awhile until you get good components

I hate being locked to use certain characters. My luck either farming Freyna has been at an all time low and my early game I’ve spent up all of my Kuiper. I’m genuinely stuck between this boss and what to farm. I have Viessa, Bunny, and Sharen. My main problem seems to be my lack of Kuiper upgrade the necessary mods. It just seems like this is too major of a roadblock for some players and it’s not even on hard mode yet.

@harveybrown2759 Well, Viessa is your best bet. Work with your team and make sure to farm up your weapons to the max possible before the fight. The Infiltration Operation right before the boss fight should be perfect for that. That's the best you can do, but honestly Freyna is not too difficult to farm. I had bad luck as well but sometimes it's best to just come back and do it again. Dismantle the spare modules you get while farming for extra Kuiper. You will be alright.

Would the loss of freyna's ult be worth using viessa for. I have a low level viessa that I'm wondering whether I should level up to do it. Or just push through and try and get my freyna leveled and the kuiper for the mods

@@johnnyMercy583 I recommend following what I did to get the same results. At the time that I cleared this, I did not have Viessa as I did not pick her as my starter. You can give it a try with Viessa, but your mods and equipment must at least match mine to stand a chance.

I just got to this fight. Tried it at least 3 times and was extremely close the second time. Then it Frenzied at the last minute. So I was either going to die or time fail.

Where did you get your external components? I'm very new and at this stage in the game I only have 12k def and all of my components are 800-900 def at most except for a single lvl 60 one I have with 933 def and an extra effect of 1287. I'd really appreciate the help and I also used a few of your guides for other intercept battles so you have my eternal gratitude

I farmed the previous boss haha. The boss external components always tend to have better stats so honestly that's how I survived. You can also farm the mission right before Pyro, but the stats may not be as much.

@@noideawhattonamemyself3204 Nah it's not higher level items, they will be level 54, but the stats are better. Thats why I used lower level external components in some of my vids, but my stats are higher. This rule holds up until you hit the hard mode bosses, then it becomes a whole different ball game haha

@noideawhattonamemyself3204 hard mode fortress is where everyone gets Kuiper. Early game the farms are not great and all you can really do is follow my builds and invest very wisely. Also dismantle spare mods and farm some missions. That is usually more than enough

If I use an Energy Activator on a lvl 44 Eternal Willpower, would the effects from it carry over to a lvl 66 or would I have to get another Energy Activator for the lvl 66?

This I am genuinely unsure about as it is not something I can test. Nor would it be viable for my current content. So I apologize for not being able to give you an appropriate answer. This is something I would only be able to answer many weeks down the line if I have activators to spare 😭😭

@@RealAsianRobot I totally understand. I got one through a quest at some point and finding out how annoying they are to get it. I didn't want to waste it on a low lvl weapon before during research on it. So for now it can sit in my back pocket till I'm farther along in the game.

@Mar10K0ng use them only on descendants first if you're going F2P like me. You don't need them on weapons. Crystallization catalyst will be better on your ultimate weapons once you reach level 100 with them.

Yes, the effects will still apply to ANY weapon of the same name. Level is meaningless. This is why you dont need to apply mods each time you equip a higher level weapon of the same name, only when you equip a completely new weapon of a different name.

Thx for using lvl 60ish gear . Sick and tired of YT's using lvl 100 maxed out gear telling everybody how easy this boss is . Btw how does Medical Support hold up compared to HP Collector ?

Never used medical support ever haha. Only hp collector ever since I got it. My best advice would be to experiment and see 😁👍. As for using the right gear, you're welcome. My job as an official creator is to show you guys how we do it F2P and at the correct level of gear. I'm glad that it helped!

I nearly killed him with just using Viessa’s skills and no bullets solo it’s actually insane how fast you can melt his armor and hp but I couldn’t tank his shots this dude has some serious aimbotting total opposite of dead bride.

Can you explain the purpose of having mele slot maxed out? In my head it's not good to have to take up 11 entire points I can use with something else. Especially with the intercept fights I don't mele the boss... maybe the minions?

It gives you 10 mod capacity. It doesn't cost you anything. Melee must always be maxed for all builds

You need to follow the build exactly, including the descendant build and the reactor to get the damage up

We did it with level 64, the level 65 was obtained after. But 1 level honestly makes nearly 0 difference dps wise. I filmed the fight before the build tbh.

So basically pay to win and grind until you're overleveled, but oh wait you can't progress past him to level efficiently, so you need to grind out the level 64-65 content over and over and over until you can beat him. Or just get carried past it by an overgeared player. Got it. Game is trash and the game design it trash. Normal level 1-99 bosses shouldn't be overtuned like this.

Greetings angry individual, I am sorry to hear that my guide did not meet your standards. Take note that I did beat the boss in order to obtain an item that was 1 level higher. You can get items that are level 65 from the infiltration just before the boss. Anyway, regardless of how you think of me, I'm still here to help the community. That's why you gotta have the DPS and gear, with longer times, anyone can do it. But with a 10 minute timer, you gotta be optimized haha
