What!?...you think the fuel just magically appears when they need it......GENIUS!!!

No. But I never see them. I thought they were disguised.

.. how does it get to airports then?

Where have you been for the past 30 years? Have you been living under a rock hell for the past 8 years? That's all I've done. Was haul jet fuel back-and-forth.

I have not seen them at all. Call it weird timing . I am on the freeway all the time. I see tons of regular tankers . Not jet fuel though. Where were you running it ?

Appears as if you almost had to drive a jet just to catch up to him! Thanks for sharing. I live in a major city, in between several airports, so I these trucks often. However, I enjoyed both your enthusiasm and the beautiful scenery (and your exhaust tone) as you caught up.

Thanks ! It was really cool to see! Wanted to make sure to share it. I am up and down the freeway and I never have seen one . Thanks for your great feedback I appreciate that 👍🏻

Probably gonna drop off fuel in Salem at McNary field

That called a double bottom. Truck & pup. 1863 placards, jet fuel.

Dang nice setup. Do you drive one?
@redmesa29755 ай бұрын
@@fastflo1 no. Just a tractor trailer fuel tanker. Company I worked for in the early 90’s had a double bottom. It could run to Denver & haul a full bulk plant load back. Then do local deliveries up around Aspen with the bobtail.

I live near a general aviation airport. Lots of based and transient jets in and out. Probably averages one 8000 gallon Jet-A delivery every day.

This is the first time I have seen one. What area are you in. I am in Oregon and on the I-5 a lot and i was surprised to see this.
@tommcadam98975 ай бұрын
@@fastflo1 The Denver area. You've probably seen lots of tankers with 1863 DOT placards that didn't have Jet-A emblazoned across the back. The one you saw most likely spent most of its time on an airport and was dedicated for jet fuel only.

K1 kerosene?...that's pretty common.

Is that what Jet Fuel is?
@keithcooke31545 ай бұрын
@@fastflo1..there's 2 different types depending on the sub zero temperature rating. I believe commercial and military aircraft use slightly different variations.
