Yeah, it’s almost like the game’s actually in a decent spot mechanically. Players are actually able to whiff-punish and improvise combos. Add the absurd speed back and that’s all gone. Back to hardly watchable chaos.

@@ShanyeSoTit was way too fast for a human being to know what the hell was happening, even void the ego champ, said that he had to guess what his opponent was gonna do most of the time, it wasn’t about skill it was more about who’s gonna guess right, but still the new speed is a little slow so if they tune it up a little bit it’s gonna be great.

Even competitive games were just pure chaos, and casual games were even worse, I don’t even know how I ranked 700 on duos with that shitty speed

@@H2teful I’d be down for a slight speed increase, but I think that’d only really benefit 1v1s. 2v2 is still pretty fast and hectic, especially with how small some of the maps are.

Greeet finished really high in this tourney (like top 4 i think), then 2 days later entered a 1600 man tourney and was 1 stock away from winning it. He has become one if my favorites. He does stuff with the car that you cant imagine

it's just in comparison to the beta that it seems slow. the beta was insanely fast paced so this was just a bit of a culture shock

Carry would’ve taken that Harley if he didn’t nerf himself. 1:51:58 If you notice in the last few rounds he ends the infinite after one loop because he considered approaching w Nair as 1/2 loops. The speed currently is great for the game compared to the beta. Chaos is fun but for competition slower is better. Allows for accuracy and timing to be more precise. Otherwise unless you’re a smash purist this platform fighter has potential to be different in a genre that needs a refresh with its selection. Characters are vastly different from each other in moves and specials . Would recommend

The Iron Giant is very large and he is an easy target for combos. His percentage gets bundled up quickly.

It is an advanced tech. Look up "multiversus dodge cancel". In summary, you hold your stick diagonally and dodge. Right as you dodge, press an input and the game thinks you are in the air so you do an aerial.

21:01 I think we may need to add smash-DI. Auto-combos are just too simple. They shouldn't be so rewarding. IMO. I'm open to debate on this.
