I loved this show from the pilot, but to me, this episode is where it fully hit its stride. I couldn’t believe what I was watching. Everything was so perfect starting with “Easssy, sugar bear. Talk him through the hunger, Abed.”

@@ethantroymascenon1969 I think when captain holt became john wick, the palm springs episode trilogy and the halloween episodes but the reason full episode thrill is sparce in b99 is because most the time half the episode is action and the rest it comedic like the die hard christmas parody half of the episode was die hard but the other half was at a frozen beach

@@marcelobertoni2967 it's the most honest, obviously it has a ridiculous touch to it, but it has a very grounded sense of realism. None of the characters even live up to their stereotypes; Pierce is supposed to be one of the worst in the bunch with his racist upbringing, but he still wants to be around a multiethnic group of young adults. That's not a character, that’s human.

the "priority registration" plotpoint is one of the things that makes me like this episode a bit more than the paintball episodes in season 2, its a lot more clever than people fighting for money and the confrontation with the dean at the end is great payoff

My school did a Nerf Assassin game. Every participant got a picture and name of a single target. When you take out your target, their target is now your new one. You never knew who was hunting you, as even if you evaded them once, ten minutes later someone could have taken them out and was now hunting you.

The deepness of that joke cannot be overstated, anyone who's been to college will tell you that just picking your schedule is the most aggravating weeks or even months before your actual first day of school. One of my favourites too. The laugh before the line is the best part. Donald Glover was the most charismatic comedic actor in community with alison brie a close second. Some of the best moments in the show is about his delivery of jokes.

Liam Jacques in the first episode of season 3, the dean said no more of that and he’s gonna be a “hard dean” from now on. Which I think was Dan Harmons way of saying he doesn’t wanna milk the whole paintball ploy since it was done the first two seasons. But I agree those episodes were golden. And the DND ones too

A report no one asked for: They are using the iconic Tippmann TiPX CO2 powered pistol with a capacity of 7 rounds with each CO2 canister able to shoot 25-30 rounds of paint before running out of gas. Although with additional parts it can be hooked up to a remote airtank it's much easier to use with CO2. They have no attachments and standard bolts so their effective range is about 75-100 ft before dropping off severely but mods can be added to extend the range. I have lately seen a lot of people in recent paintball videos come from this specific video so I'm hoping I can provide insight into real paintball

The decoy on the rolling chair is hilarious because it's such a familiar trope that in this context you don't at first realize how completely ridiculous it is.

i remember when this came out on tv. it was so incredible. everyone was talking about it. it was so revolutionary. everyone wanted more. it was such a great series. we had the office, and parks and rec, and community and 30 rock all on the same night. it was bananas.

I have never seen community before. I've head of it, but not felt compelled to watch it or learn anything about it. This popped up in recommendations...I must now bing every second of this ludicrous brilliance!

Currently on season 3 and so far each season evolves more and more from a typical sitcom to what you see here... which I feel makes it better than if it was just weird from the start... I like the slow transition into weirdness
