I think that vault compass is necessary for beginners You can loot without worrying about the way to return to the starter room ( that contains the portal ) so looting will be easier and better

Is it weird that I would love to put ars in vault hunters behind the big mods section for say 9 reaserch at base?

I would definitely argue drawers are a better first for storage mods and then save up for rs and completely skip simple storage

@@SharkOSix yeah it's good and useful in lots of modpacks but I think it's better to use RS or AE as a main storage mod because SSM lags the hell out of your game especially with Create and other big mods usually being used in the same world in VH.

No more input/output or crafting in SSN in the newest VH update, making it a last choice for me now unfortunately

Yep kind of regret unlocking it now, only reason it is somewhat useful to me is that i had a bunch of filtered link cables pre crafted

Nah, for how cheap it is to get it going, it's the best first storage mod and easily the best 2nd mod to get after pouches, imo. Nothing fancy, just all your items in a single interface with a search bar, with the most expensive item in the recipes being 4 vault diamonds if I remember correctly.

@@Ecliptor. ngl i just skipped SSN and went to drawers and refined, only took me til lvl 20 to get that, thermal and ofc thermal power. sadly the crafting grid requires an echo pog

Unfortunate that update 9 destroyed Simple Storage and made cage dust harder to get by making most spawners fizzle spawners. You may need to do an update video.

Well the simple storage with crafting grid was causing lots of lag issues so it makes sense

tbh, all you want from SSN is to consolidate all your items in a single interface, and that mods does it the best and simplest out of every mod there, imo. Even if they, for some reason, removed the crafting grid. I think it's the best 2nd mod to pick after pouches.

I found a recipe to craft cage dust, so that problem has been thought of and taken care of ;)

only issue with ispawners is the need for echo pogs, as cage dust is craftable. I dont like having to swap my spawn eggs out so personally Id go cagerium over ispawners first though

As far as I know with Modular Routers you can set exchanging those eggs via click of a button
